It’s that midweek moment where we reflect on a from LNG Industry. 🤔
Taking another look at our August issue, in an article, Laura Chemler, Emerson, reveals that while facilities that turn pipeline gas into LNG and those that receive LNG for regasification face risks that take many forms, there are also multiple solutions. ⚖️💡
“LNG itself is not flammable, but natural gas is, and wherever there is LNG, there will be some degree of natural gas – either upstream, during liquefaction, or from boil off during storage. This makes risk management an essential part of running a processing facility, but safety is not the only issue that needs to be managed for optimal operation… As the demand for LNG continues to rise, it is paramount to minimise risks wherever possible.” 🦺🚨
