In this issue, Joseph Demonte, Teddy Tilahun, and Andrea Sutti, Emerson, explain how LNG poses significant challenges for control, isolation, and relief valve applications โ€“ which can be addressed with specially designed solutions. ๐Ÿค

The article explores the importance of selecting the correct valve for specific LNG operations and takes a look at which valve types work best for particular LNG applications. For example, poorly performing Joules-Thomson (J-T) valves force site personnel to revert to manual control and greatly reduces process efficiency. At one site, the replacement of a poorly-performing J-T valve resulted in significant operational savings and increased terminal throughput. ๐Ÿ‘
