One of the most practical ways we’re using day-in-day-out is for creating moodboards.

Like this one, created by Luke Whiteley for ’s 2025 summer shoot (inspired by this year’s Pantone Colour of the Year: Mocha).

Moodboarding can be surprisingly time-consuming, especially when trying to visualise an idea quickly or match a specific aesthetic prior to a shoot. With AI, we can speed up that process significantly; pulling together visual references that are faster to produce, and help us and our clients align much earlier on creative direction.

This was one of three rigs built across two of our studios, where we captured a mix of product and lifestyle content (stills and video) for use across POS, on-trade, ecommerce and digital OOH.

Some of our team, along with our wonderful client , headed to the UK Content & PR Awards last night, where we were shortlisted for three awards!

While we didn’t take home a win this time, the judges’ commentary was overwhelmingly positive:

“A fantastic example of a heritage brand confidently stepping into the future. Squeeze was a brave and well-coordinated campaign with real heart and commercial impact.”

“A really strong campaign which hit the brief and exceeded some challenging objectives.”

“Great creative idea using and reinforcing the USP of the product.”

Recent photography work with our good friends at Whitby Seafoods, who are celebrating their 40th anniversary this summer 🐟🦐

We captured eight oh-so-delicious recipes from loaded fries and salty sea dogs to fresh salads, crispy waffles, and bold nachos... all set against their understated backdrops letting bold flavours, rich textures, and indulgence take centre stage.

The assets are now live across their website and social channels.

Some of our team had an insightful day at the Food & Drink Trends & Innovation Summit earlier this week, diving into the future of the industry.

Here are some of the key takeaways:

🥂 Premiumisation & indulgence
Consumers are embracing luxury and indulgence, with a genuine willingness to invest in premium experiences. A notable example is the Japanese Crown melon, priced at £150 and available at which flew off the shelves earlier this year 🤯

💰 The value equation
While price still matters, shoppers are increasingly seeking value through quality, convenience and an emotional connection with brands.

🚀 Emerging trends
Valeo Foods tapped into all things trends and flavour combos. From Sweet & Spicy, Global Heat, Extreme Umami, Nostalgic Twists, Botanical & Citrus Infusions, and Maximalist Pairings, expect to see all of these on the rise. Have you tried the Korean Hwachae Fruit Bowl yet? 🥣

⏳ Limited-time offers
Brands like will continue using exclusivity to create urgency and excitement among consumers: think limited-edition sauces, seasonal offerings, and modern complements like beverages.

🥗 Nutrient-rich additions
Incorporating nutrient-dense ingredients into “low-cal, low-fat, low-sugar” products is gaining traction, especially in response to GLP-1 trends and stricter HFSS regulations.

🐟 &
Last but not least, it was great to learn about Quorn’s initiative with the NHS, introducing “Let’s Meat Halfway” across UK hospitals, blending half mince and half Quorn to reduce meat intake, CO₂ emissions and work toward a more sustainable future.

Sorry (not sorry) for the Jacksons spam! Here are some of the key visuals we captured for Jacksons of Yorkshire new campaign "Rise Up".

Alongside the 30-second TV ad, we delivered 10-second cutdowns, and a suite of key visuals and exclusive BTS content.

👉 But capturing both photography and video was a delicate balancing act. Our Senior Creative, Silas Collins, who led on photography, explains:

“The schedule was tight, so wherever possible, I used the TV crew’s lighting to stay consistent and move fast. Watching their setup gave me a head start when it was my turn.”

“The first AD and director were super accommodating, which meant I could often shoot from similar angles to the cam op. Sometimes that worked perfectly and I got the key visual on the spot. Other times, I had a few minutes with the talent to either replicate a frame from the video or capture a still that matched the brief.”

A testament to what’s possible when everyone comes together ✨

Breakfast, ITVX and we couldn't be more excited! 📺💥

A mahoosive production filmed across Yorkshire, bringing together over 150 cast and crew to tell one big, beautiful story: a nation united by a love of better bread.

At the heart of it all? The food, beautifully styled and celebrated by a diverse cast of bread lovers, each preparing and enjoying Jacksons their own way 🥪

Jessica Metzelaar-McGee, Head of Production at Powerhouse: “We’re so proud to have helped Jacksons bring their first-ever TVC to life, with filming in locations so close to our roots, including Gate Hemsley, Arncliffe and Hull city centre. The team came together to deliver something truly special on an immense scale. No task was too big (pre, during or post shoot) with all agencies working collaboratively. We’re excited to see it go live and deliver great success for the brand.”

This role is the first of its kind at our agency, which means you’ll have the chance to shape it, own it and really make it your own.
