Hosting a wide variaty of Music and local information by Volunteer Preseneters dedicating there time to producing live shows from our Studio on School Farm, Graveney Road, Faversham, Kent. Registered on Company House as Faversham Community Radio CIC. First launched on the 8th April 2017 to promote good things happening in the Town. We are entirely run by volunteers, we dedicate countless hours pro

ducing pre-recorded show each week and our social media content is up-to-date with show information. We are committed to being a voice and platform for Faversham & Surrounding Villages. We welcome local people, projects, groups and charities to be interviewed for our local news programme
"Radio Faversham Newscast" or our podcast "Mike's Mic" with Mike Adams. We like to talk about local events, initiatives and services in person or via Zoom, Skype etc. On our station you will hear a wide range of music hosted by local presenters and syndicated shows. Radio Faversham streams on the internet via our website, smartphones/tablets internet radio relay apps, smartspeakers like Alexa & Google Home by asking to "Play Radio Faversham" and it will connect. Our team have ambitions to broadcast on DAB, and will be applying for a licence when Ofcom open for applications in our area. Radio Faversham - Giving Faversham A Voice & Playing A Great Mix Of Music!

THE HISTORY OF OUR STATION

After the collapse of Creek FM the established presenters decided that they wanted to continue as a team and with the backing of the West Faversham Community Association we were able to buy new equipment and refurbish the studio at the West Faversham Community Centre. Radio Faversham was born!

We plan to be bigger and better with the help of our dedicated volunteers. Radio Faversham’s Studio is based at the West Faversham Community, on Bysingwood Road. Our team have ambitions to broadcast on FM, will be applying for a licence when Ofcom open for applications in our area.

Radio Faversham aims to include everyone, we will have accessible studios and welcome people of all ages and abilities to get involved. We hope to have access to an outreach studio facility, which will allow us to broadcast from schools, community groups and businesses.
