Lord, before I step onto the ward, go before me. Give me steady hands, a clear mind, a compassionate heart and wisdom in every decision. Protect me from errors, exhaustion and harm. Give me patience with every patient and strength when the shift becomes difficult. May my hands bring healing, my words bring comfort, and may I return home safely after serving others. Amen.
