🌞 June Edition Available Now! 🌞

Well… we’ve finally dragged ourselves away from the sunshine, the paddling pools and the beer gardens long enough to get this month’s magazine finished — and we think it’s worth it 😉

The June issue of Filey Bay Today is now live online and it’s packed with everything that makes this time of year in our little corner of the coast so special 🧡

Wow the tickets have been flying out for our fabulous fashion show next Saturday at the hall, we do just have a few remaining tickets left for this event, this is a very popular event for us, so what you waiting for if you want one of the few remaining tickets contact Leanne.
Tickets are £5 🎟
This is not to be missed,
Last year it was a sell out.
There will be a big variety of ladies clothing, with different styles and fittings and all sizes,also gifts and accessories from bags to jewellery and perfume nothing over £30 so very good value, there will also be a Raffle on the day to win some fabulous prizes which includes vouchers to spend on the day.
All ticket money raised goes back into funding the hall.

Doors open at 1:30pm
Show starts at 2pm

The Filey Steampunk Weekend - North Yorkshire - UK is in full swing! Here’s a reminder of the programme for the weekend.

It’s almost time for the spectacle that is Filey Steampunk UK Weekend, and we can’t bloomin’ wait to see you in all your Steampunk finery! 🎩

Here’s our entertainment, events and what’s happening and when. We are currently awaiting confirmation of live music so keep your eyes peeled on our page for announcements. 🎤🎵

Friday 15th May
7.30 - 9.30pm Quiz Night with Ellie Etoile’s Burlesque - Belle Vue Pub. Fantastic prizes to be won courtesy of the gorgeous Isadora Phoenix. Prize pictures in comments. Who’s joining us? Test your knowledge across a wide range of topics while picking up new facts along the way. Come and have a giggle (and maybe a wiggle) with the gang from Ellie Etoile’s Burlesque!

Saturday 16th May
9am - 1.30pm Tank Rides On The Beach - £10pp, no booking required - bottom of Cargate Hill, Filey. Minimum height 1.2m.

10am - 4pm Shopping & Steampunk Market - back of the Evron Centre (inside and outside stalls).

10am - 2pm Strongman & Strongwoman Competitions (winner to be announced at 3pm) - Filey Bandstand, back of the Evron Centre & Crescent Gardens. £25 entry (includes competition t-shirt). Prize £2000 to be split between the male and female winners. Members of the public will also be able to try the events with winners awarded a Hull’s Strongest goody bag. Please see separate post dedicated to this for all the details.

10am - 2pm Children’s Treasure Hunt – collect forms from Isadora Phoenix & Bondi Rose – front of the Evron Centre. Prize for each child.

11am – 11.45am Ravens Morris (dance) - paved area above the café in front of the bandstand.

11.45am – 12pm Isadora Phoenix Fire Show - Crescent Gardens.

1pm – 1.45pm Ravens Morris (music) - paved area above the café in front of the bandstand.

2pm Ramshackle Shantymen - back of the Evron Centre.

2.15pm – 3pm Ravens Morris (dance) - paved area above the café in front of the bandstand.

3pm Steam Engine & Parade. Meet at the side of the Evron Centre. Dress in all your Steampunk finery and choo choo your way to the bandstand with us.

4pm – 4.15pm Isadora Phoenix Fire Show - Crescent Gardens.

7.00 – 10.15pm Evening Burlesque & Cabaret show with Ellie Etoile’s Burlesque. The Evron Centre. Age 18+ Tickets £10 + booking fee and available from www.ticketsource.com/ellieetoilesburlesque

Sunday 17th May

3pm Steam Engine, Parade & Best Dressed Competition. Meet at the side of the Evron Centre. Dress in all your Steampunk finery and choo choo your way to the bandstand with us. Prizes will be awarded for best dressed (male/female/child) and best Steampunk gadget/prop – donated courtesy of Isadora Phoenix who will award the prizes.

4pm Tug of War final - on the beach. £100 cash prize for the winners. Please see separate post dedicated to this for all the details.
