Telling the story of one of the most complex signalling upgrades in London Underground history...

We partnered with Hitachi Rail to produce this film, marking a major milestone: the seamless integration of two control systems across two generations of technology - The Jubilee Line SelTrac™ CBTC and the PMI interlocking system at Neasden Depot.

With footage from Hitachi’s on-site teams, combined with our own interviews and location shoots, we built a unified story.

Our goal: to bring together voices across three countries, translate complex rail engineering into a clear narrative, and spotlight the teamwork that made it possible.

Last week marked an incredible moment for Boxclever Media at Raindance 2025, with three films we’re proud to be associated with all premiering at the UK’s leading independent film festival.

Each project brings a powerful story and a serious message to the screen:

🎬 Breakwater (World Premiere)
Oxford University’s second-ever feature film - a beautifully shot and emotionally resonant story of grief, romance and healing, set between Oxford and the Suffolk coast. It was the most nominated film in this year’s competition. It’s a meditation on grief, masculinity and human connection - exploring how we process loss and begin to heal.

🎥 Our Journey with Lobular Breast Cancer (World Premiere)
A deeply personal and eye-opening documentary raising awareness of lobular breast cancer, a frequently misdiagnosed form of the disease, and the Moonshot Project - a campaign that has already gained the support of over 350 MPs, pushing for greater funding, earlier detection and better treatment pathways.

🛫 This Is Your Captain Speaking (World Premiere)
A hard-hitting investigative documentary uncovering the dangerous cocktail of toxic gases circulating through the air systems on commercial flights, affecting both passengers and crew. This is a story that impacts everyone who flies and challenges long-standing industry silence.

Seeing these films premiere on the big screen at Vue Piccadilly has been a privilege, and a reminder of the power of cinema to move, inform and provoke.

Boxclever Media is honoured to have produced this short documentary, capturing the extraordinary story of the Khan dynasty, a lineage of virtuoso musicians who have shaped Indian classical music for generations.

"A Sarod Celebration" showcases the artistry of Amjad Ali Khan, Amaan Ali Bangash, and Ayaan Ali Bangash - sixth and seventh-generation masters of the sarod - alongside their emerging eighth generation. As Wigmore Hall Associate Artists, they continue to bridge musical traditions, collaborating with Western counterparts to create something truly timeless.
