Meet Millie, my very special Millionth Edition 4CX Groundworker Pro. With virtually every option ticked, she will be the new flagship of my company.

This is no ordinary backhoe, I have plans to use the new features on this top of the range machine to carry out work faster, more cost effective and run a selection of attachments and guidance systems that will show my customers the versatility of one machine to solve the wide ranging projects on their books.

The ability to drive itself to site already gives the backhoe a head start, saving costly transport. But this is just the start, I’m going to take my business and service I offer to my clients to the next level. This new machine is a key part of that plan. I can’t wait to get started.

My JCB 18z has been busy this year and is currently working on a footpath refurbishment for my local parish council. Been a great little machine, gets in the tighter spaces and the ability to share attachments with its bigger brother the 8026 is a huge bonus. Equipped with iDig too, it’s a productive machine that fits through a 1m wide gap.

A day to remember! A Millionth Edition 4CX backhoe loader joins my JCB fleet at Gunns Contractors Ltd.
It’s been a lifelong dream to buy a brand new backhoe, to my own specification, and to see it come together in front of my eyes was a real pinch yourself moment.

Having run an older 3CX in my business for a few years now, it’s proven the concept and I’m taking it to the next level with this new full spec machine with DualDrive, front and rear quick hitches, extra auxiliary circuits for attachments, and the brand new EH controls allowing me to run the front and rear arms consecutively for maximum production.

This eye catching Millionth Edition celebrates not only JCB’s milestones of production, and this year being their 80th anniversary - it’s also my 10th year in business and I can’t think of a better way to mark the occasion than a new machine - ready to take my business to the next level!
