A big website / update [it's been awhile] 🎨

I've now created a Pattern Collections section, where my curated thematic works will now live going forward.

This not only looks more professional of course, but also makes it easy for prospective clients to get a snapshot look of my style and work [and tidies things up site wise too].

And the rest of my wider pattern library is still available to wonder through overleaf.

[As well as one collection incoming, I have another after, and 3 already in the pre-planning stages!

It's a process I'm slowly growing used to; it'll make things much easier for me].

A triple art whammy - and an update 🎨

A small scale icons print of my Tropical Toucans [in a lush Tropical Blue], my second Leopard Print pattern [now a classic flat number, to my mixed media first], and a cool lil minimal Sun Block - Golden Sands print.

Although this last one will be coming out as part of one of my 2 Collections in-progress, which... leads me swiftly to my update news.

I'm a bit burnt out in my life atm honestly. Spinning my wheels with a slice of existential sadness [under the surface].

And so I'm gonna be having a rest from social main posts for a few weeks. Come back with those collections and a more hopeful future outlook.

Pride isn't just for June. It's everyday 🏳‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

A badge of acceptance - for those who wear it proudly. And those not quite there yet. As the fight for our continued very existence continues [more than ever] the world over.

My Splattered Rainbow design of yesteryears just fits so damn well, that I had to make some Gay, LGBT and Trans Pride wearable art! 🌈

I know I am very lucky to live in a part of the world / UK where I am in a safe space to live my truth - and if not, I hope the day is coming very soon where you can be unapologetic you. ❤

Standing up with my fellow Trans sisters and brothers 🏳️‍⚧️

This lil badge / pin button design sporting a motif of my Abstract Psychedelic Florals pattern art, adorned in the Trans Flag colours.

Even being in the LGBT community myself - it's just common bloody human decency to let others live [and love] how they want to.

👋 to all the nasty [and plain pathetic] homo and transphobes babies out there. Your feelings are simply not above - anyone's - life.

Two wildly contrasting colourways today 🎨

A new Rainbow for my old [I mean 8+ years] Okapi Spotted Print in lieu of Summer and, of course, Pride Month! 🏳‍🌈

This pattern actually being the first animal print I ever did too.

And my one of my recent faves in Celeste Blue giving a fresh and tranquil feel to my Tropical Palms. ☀

A cool thing about being an artist is the option of reinterpreting old work 🎨

Now, as a digital Surface Pattern Designer this typically involves working with the master file but, especially for traditional artists could be by merely looking back at the physical art itself.

So going back to my old Apparel Designer wannabe aspirational roots, I went back to my recent Abstract Loose Scribes pattern and thought about how I could make it work as a piece fit for apparel and stickers 👕

And volia! Experimentation led to this magical, sun eye-looking motif ☀✨

The Mt Fuji form for my Bamboo & Sakura was the most natural fit in the world [and one I did little awhile ago, showing it off in a Story]. 🗻🌸
