This is my thoughts...

This is a great way to quickly add context to photos.

It's fast and easy to create a carousel.

But . If you like branded carousel templates, this won't compete with your branding.

If you're making content in advance, Canva templates are easier to create and save for later.

A great update. Definitely, it gives you another way to create content, and it could definitely save time and add interest to photo carousels.

Any update that gives you new ways to create content and connect with your audience is worth experimenting with!!

The problem with 20 pages....

Holding people's attention!

When you use carousel posts, your goal is to encourage people to work through page to page...

Did you get to the end of my carousel?

Which was only 11 pages!

My tips...

🔥Only use the pages you need.. but don't over crowd your text.

🔥Think about hooks to keep people interested in what's coming next.

🔥try using your carousels for story telling, rather than using long captions that don't always get read!

Carousels do get shown to non followers more than static posts, so it's definitely worth giving them some time and thought.

❗️TOP TIP

Get yourself a branded carousel template so that you can easily add your text without recreating the background every time you use one!

This will save you soooo much time!!

And keep your carousels completely on brand every time.

Still not convinced?

Still think you don't have time?

Make small changes, start by defining the client that you would like to work with.

Then create content just for them.

Start a hooks bank, there are so many hooks readily available, when you see one that you like make a note of if it for later.

Social media is a process, you can absolutely get new clients, make small changes, and track how they impact your results

Remember, get noticed, know who you are speaking to, and design your messaging just for them.

If you want to get found in searches...

You have to use every possible opportunity to add searchable content to your social media

You see everyone talking about SEO, and Keywords?

This is where it starts!

Optimising your bio makes you searchable and relatable, and it can make you stand out.

Start with making sure that the first line uses words that people would pop in a search bar if they were looking for your services.

If your Instagram handle is your business name, you don't need it twice.

People can see who you are, now tell them what you do!

Share with others who want to get seen!

If you are looking for more engagement, it really can be as simple as acting by example!!!

If you speak to someone, the usually speak back!!

If you like what you see... let people know!
My mum always told me to Treat others as you would like to be treated.... same applies here!!

OK... not always the case, but when you put yourself out there and start a conversation, people will see you!

If you join a conversation on another post, on another page, the other people in that conversation, will see you!

If you want to get noticed.... let people know who you are..
And where you are!

Its not uncommon for some businesses to spend more than 10 hours a week on their social media..., Planning, creating, and scheduling/posting content; interacting with other accounts, and researching future content.... that's a whole day (or more of course depending on your working day!)

And then there's the risk of disappearing into the social media black hole... once you're in, it's so easy to scroll your way through reel after reel.. looking for inspiration or just getting caught up in the latest trends!
