Have you heard of Le Shuttle?
It’s a car train that transports vehicles and passengers through the Channel Tunnel between the UK and France - and it’s dog-friendly!
Here’s how to make the journey…

1. Book your crossing online in advance and add your dog to your booking
2. Arrive to the terminal in Folkestone 60-90 minutes before your journey time
3. Drive through the check-in and enter your details to print your car hanger
4. Continue driving and park by the passenger terminal and pet reception
5. Take your dog into the pet reception to have their paperwork checked and microchip scanned
6. Use the bathrooms, grab something to eat or drink and check out the shops in the passenger terminal (it’s all dog-friendly!)
7. Let your dog use the outdoor pet exercise area until it’s time for your crossing
8. Head back to your car and follow the signs to the train/France
9. Drive your car onto the train - you can stay with your dog the whole time, in your car or outside of it
10. Arrive in Calais, France in just 35 minutes and continue to your destination
