Could this be a fun business idea for some one in Dover? Not just the cliffs but many other places.
It is a small idea but could go into tourism without the marshmallows but something else.
I made this map for my nephew. As a family we built an outdoors rucksack with bits and pieces. My brothers idea.
I bought the compass.
But I made the map and funny story, whilst I was doing notes up at the cliffs. The police parked in an unmarked car got out to ask me what I was doing. I explained it's for my nephew and not a terrorist attack.
But it was fun and adventurous.
Maybe with the printing firms, and other agencies this could be could for locals and tourists.

There is so much work to do for Dover.
We need better co-ordinators.
No more of these committee groups. Just action. It's why nothing gets done in the UK. I have an idea I will share soon.

The point isn't that Dover needs to copy Maldon Promenade Park or try to deliver everything in one location. With the right investment, however, we could take some of the ideas that work there and spread them across Dover — from Pencester Gardens through the town centre and out towards Connaught Park. Improvements could include better recreational spaces, family facilities, outdoor activities, events, landscaping, seating and areas for people to simply enjoy being outside. By looking at the town as a collection of connected spaces, rather than putting everything in one place, we could create a similar sense of destination and community across a much wider area. The video isn't claiming that Maldon delivered all of these things at once; it's showing what can be achieved when investment is used to create attractive, usable public spaces.
