It’s been a very busy month with mechanical, welding and custom fabrication work. Most recently I replaced a rear top spring mount.

Structural repairs should be carried out using the correct material thickness to replicate the original strength wherever possible.

Spring cleaning has begun. Just all the door shuts and interior to clean and then for its service.
Also got round to taking the cruise control out of the white t4 to put in this one 👌

First customer job completed in the new unit! 🔧🔥
Really pleased with how this T4 turned out — a proper start for Twiggs T4 Metalworks.

This van came in with the typical hidden rust issues in the rear of the front arch/step area. From the outside it didn’t look too bad, but once you open it up you see the real story. As always, everything was done the right way:

• Rot cut out fully back to clean metal
• Fresh plates fabricated and shaped properly
• Solid welding with good pe*******on
• Welds dressed back smooth
• Inside treated and sealed before closing up
• Outside finished in epoxy + stonechip for long-term protection
• Step trims and interior areas refitted clean and tidy

Nothing rushed, nothing hidden — just honest metalwork done properly.

This one is now fully finished and ready for the customer to collect.
I’ve got plenty of photos and clips from the whole repair, and I’ll be putting a video together soon for anyone who likes seeing this content or interested in how much I charged for this job.
