Burning the candle at both ends! At the leather Designs workshop we have 3 amazing projects on the go! Can’t wait to be able to share them with you. But on top of that we are travelling up in the evening to this great dock to paint this 1937 GU boat. At this point I think to add the Leather Designs logo and it will be perfect 🤩

Iv been managing Saddlery and leatherwork departments in the film industry for 16 years and have worked on many Ridley Scott films, I’m very proud to have been an Art Director for horses, and headed up the Saddlery Department on Gladiator 2. The Saddlery dept team on this production were amazing! Jess has worked with leather designs Ltd for a while and is a rock and can turn her hand to making anything. Lottie brought Saddle making skills, Amy and John are now saddlers to the stars, Charlie not only has great creative leatherwork he is also on screen riding in the tack, Arzu and Quyen new to the team and I would welcome them back, Becky and Steve are more than junior leatherworkers, Becky has worked on a few projects with us and has big goals In fashion, Steve is a blacksmith and had lots of transferable skills, bringing the final look and ageing to the leatherwork Ilona our painter. Then after all that, Myself, Sue and Melisa spend a lot of time on set in Morocco and Malta dressing Horses, Rhinos and Donkeys! Sue I could not have done this without you! This was a big team who I would like to thank so much and hope you are proud of what we accomplished.

One part of our job here at Leather Designs is to use our creative finesse to bring concepts to life. This project shows this admirably, I had the pleasure of designing and working with the production teams on Rings of Power S2. Being supported by my fantastic team Jess, Becky and Louise working from my workshop in the New Forest. Also thanks to Rob at wildfire forge for the metalwork.
