The documentary introduces Ashkan, an unconventional dentist and battle-scarred visionary leading South Cliff Dental Group through rapid growth as he prepares to unveil a new headquarters.
Ashkan navigates through a dark and turbulent period marked by personal collapse, body dysmorphia, steroid abuse, and a professional investigation that threatens to end his career. As his life spirals toward despair, a timely phone call rekindles his passion for the arts and offers a glimmer of redemption, even as the lasting effects of his choices nearly cost him his life. We follow Ashkan's transformation as he embraces a clean lifestyle and champions a bold, disruptive vision for the future of dentistry.
This documentary marks the first time Ashkan truly lays his soul bare before the world. A heartfelt thank you to SaGuarda Studios Ltd. and to Director Diego Barraza, for crafting not merely a film, but a profound piece of art that breathes with honesty and humanity.
This story is dedicated to the women in dentistry Women In DSO®, and to the four women who became the pillars of Ashkan’s life: Rachel Pithie, Charlotte F., Garima Garg, and Manar Elalami. Each of them carried him through seasons of darkness with their sacrifice, patience, and forgiveness. Through them, Ashkan discovered faith, spirituality, and the deepest meaning of love. Without their grace, he would not still be here today.
The film will premiere at a red carpet event in London in June 2026. Invitations will soon be extended to a select few, to witness an evening of openness and truth. Ashkan's story has long been held in silence, but now is finally ready to be spoken aloud."
