💔 Helping One of Our Own – For Misty & Karen
Hey lovely Weagleholics family,
I wanted to share something very close to my heart. One of our original and most supportive members, Karen, has had to make the heartbreaking decision to help her beautiful girl Misty cross the rainbow bridge. 🌈
Misty fought bravely through months of vet visits, surgery, medication, and so much love. What started as what seemed like a knee issue turned out to be something far worse. Despite every effort – new vets, hydrotherapy, surgery, medication, and even chemo – the cancer spread quickly. In the end, the kindest thing Karen could do was let Misty go, surrounded by love and her family.
Karen has been there for every fundraiser I've done – always the first to donate, always cheering us on. Now, it’s our turn to show her the same kindness and support. ❤️
Because vet bills have left her with a heavy financial burden on top of her grief, I’m doing a lightning-fast fundraiser to help in a small way.

💷 £1 per number
🎁 6 chances to win a ‘Weagle of Your Beagle’ & a surprise xx
📅 Draw tomorrow night at 8pm

I know this is a big ask – especially with my upcoming Kilt Walk for Beagle Welfare – but if you can spare even £1, it would mean the world. Every little helps, not just financially, but in showing Karen she’s not alone.
💫 Let’s rally around her like we always do. Let’s do it for Misty. 🐾
Please comment or message me if you'd like a number (or a few!) Please wait till I've liked your comment before sending pennies ###
The usual payment ways either PayPal [email protected] Or message for bank transfer xx

🎉 Exciting Weagle News Alert! 🐾

Remember that mysterious new project I hinted at with the Beagle Welfare Shop? Well… I can finally spill the beans! 🫘✨

I was thrilled to be asked if I could create some brand-new Weagles to be turned into exciting items for the online shop. So off I went to weagle HQ ( with Buddy and Eddie supervising) and made a tri-colour, lemon, and tan Weagle — plus a set of the four No-Wise Weagles

Then, I sweet-talked the amazing and wonderfully talented Rebecca Freeman into working her graphic magic — and wow, did she deliver! She transformed the Weagles into gorgeous designs ready to be featured on a fab new range of shop goodies! 🎨🛍️

💥 And the best part? The new line is now LIVE in the Beagle Welfare online shop — along with loads of other brilliant beagle bits and bobs! 💥

But wait, there's more! The original Weagles used to create the graphics will soon be heading over to the Beagle Welfare Online Charity Auction Page — so keep your eyes peeled 👀 if you want to get your paws on one of these special little originals!

Go have a browse, support a great cause, and let me know which Weagle is your fave! 🧡

Never let it be said I’m not committed to bringing my ideas to life with the Weagles… or maybe it’s more accurate to say I should be committed 🤪

Due to my earlier mishap today cutting my training walk short. I’ve finally figured out how to make a tartan Fimo cane! 🎉 And not just any tartan—this one’s in the colours of the Kiltwalk, the event I’m walking on 17th August: 20 miles from St Andrews to Dundee to raise funds for Beagle Welfare 🐶💚💙

Because making tartan out of Fimo clearly wasn’t challenging enough, I decided the Weagle needed a wee kilt too... and of course, a pose to match! So this one’s covering his mouth like he's about to spill some juicy gossip or tell you off—I've called him “Haud Yer Wheesht” 😂

And since the kilt looks best from behind (as all the best kilts do), this might be the only time I proudly show off a Weagle’s backside.

This will be a very limited edition (read: I’m never doing this again unless I lose my mind twice), and I think I have enough tartan left to make one or 2 more. For now, both Fimo and Weagle are off to the pre-oven party—being held in the fridge. Honestly, I wouldn’t mind joining them.

I’m hoping that the promise of a tartan-kilted Weagle might entice you into sponsoring me when I start pestering you all closer to the time... So stay tuned, send thoughts and prayers for the oven party disco, and let’s hope no Weagles fall over and loose a limb🕺🔥

Well... today's 15-mile training walk didn’t exactly go to plan 🙃

The day started off brilliantly — I took the boys out for a wee 1.8-mile wander (we’ll call it a warm-up 😅). The harr was in, making it perfect walking weather for the pups and a wee hint it might heat up later. Spoiler alert: it definitely did.

Once the boys were fed and happily snoozing, I got ready for the main event — even rocked my Beagle Welfare tee 👕. But 1.5 miles into my walk in 22°C heat, I realized the t-shirt was a layer too many and my neck was roasting. Thankfully, Andrew’s trusty rucksack had my back (literally) with sunscreen and a snood! One layer off, neck protected, and I was feeling fab.

I was powering through, still smiling when I reached Bernie Loch. Then… disaster! I said a cheerful “good morning” to a gent and his wee girl, caught my foot on a root, and next thing I know — whoosh — glasses airborne, nose nearly kissed the ground, hands and knee took the hit. 😬

Thankfully, no blood, no major pain, just a bruised ego and a skint knee. After assuring the poor gent I wasn’t mortally wounded, I hobbled to a nearby bench, dug into the rucksack (seriously, this thing’s a lifesaver), cleaned up with some wipes, and off I went again.

Then about 10 minutes later… uh-oh 😟 a weird lump on my knee started rubbing against my trousers. Yep — a lovely big swelling had appeared. No ice pack in the bag (rookie mistake), so I made the sensible call and rang my Knight in Shining Armour 🛡️ to whisk me home to the comfort of a bag of frozen garden peas. 🟢

Despite the drama, I still clocked over 4 miles — nearly 6 in total for the morning! 🏃‍♀️

I’ll be taking a few days off for some R&R (Rest & Rogue Knee) but I’ll be back out there soon. In the meantime, I might just get a couple of Weagles made! 🐾

Not sharing my JustGiving page just yet — I want to complete the full 15 miles first. But stay tuned… I’ll get there 💪

🎨 First Attempt at Tartan Fimo! 🐾👣

So… I gave tartan Fimo a go – and let’s just say, it might also be my last attempt 😆🤣 Bit more practice needed (a lot more, actually!).

BUT – if nothing else, the wee weagles might end up rocking some "unique" tartan bandanas soon… all in support of my Kiltwalk fundraiser for Beagle Welfare! 🐶❤️

Every little helps – even a wobbly bit of handmade tartan 😉

Thanks for the love and laughs as always! 💙

Early birds, beach walks & smokie stops 🐾☀️🚶‍♀️

Started the day beating the heat with a early morning walk with the boys 🐶💨 – paws up if you’re loving this sunshine but can’t hack the heat!

Then it was off on a little trip down memory lane with my lovely partner-in-crime Dawn 💕. We headed to the beautiful coastal hamlet of Easthaven, where I lived as a teen. Back then I thought it was the middle of nowhere (3 miles on a bike to school felt like a journey of epic proportions 🚲😅)… but today? Absolute paradise.

We tackled the Easthaven to Arbroath trail – just over 5 miles of stunning seaside views, glorious sunshine, and plenty of laughs (and sweat) along the way 😅☀️. Highly recommend the new path from Dundee to Arbroath – walkers, runners, cyclists, it's a treat!

Stopped off for a cold drink + tasty lunch at The Old Boatyard (10/10, would eat again 🍽️🥂), picked up some Arbroath Smokies for tea 🐟, and even bumped into Blu the beagle, who looked just as warm as we felt.

Finished the day with a refreshing paddle back at Easthaven 🌊 (bliss for the toes 👣). Thanks for the fab company, Dawn – let’s not leave it so long next time!

Kiltwalk training is officially under way – next challenge: 15 miles this Sunday 😬💪. Here’s hoping it cools down a bit before August.
I also plan to share my just giving page and hopefully a kilt wearing weagle over the weekend though the fimo is melting as much as I am at the moment not making it easy.
