Hey folks,

It's nearly Dig time again! This month we will be working on Stallions - Erracht, looking to revamp the trail and make it the continuation of Sunset.

We will mainly be brashing the summer growth back, as well as clearing up some of the riding lines, fall zones and improving the trail flow where possible.
The plan is to work out way down Stallions Upper, with scope to continue down to the lower half if time allows.

We'll be meeting at 10am at Glen Loy - Erracht car park. Parking is limited here so please car share/pedal out if possible.
Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult, and as always... There will be cake!

Hi folks,

Thank you to all who braved the downpours yesterday, we managed to get an incredible shift done!
The team managed to open up the trail surface and add in extra drainage as needed, this means you can now see where the trail goes!
We stone pitched both river crossing to improve sustainability and improve line choice. The lower river crossing has had a pipe placed in, with a large stone pitched sections done on either side to help keep us dry & those bikes clean!
And finally, the team managed to clear the fire road which takes you from Stronach down to the end of meadows.

If you could please refrain from riding the track for a week to let the new work settle in that.

Hey folks,

Getting close to the next dig day! This month we will be heading to Stronach - Erracht to tackle some of that new summer growth.

We aim to get this trail back in a good condition as it's not ridden much. Focussing on improving the odd bit of drainage, brashing, stone pitching, and fixing the exit rut, we will get this trail running again.

We'll be meeting at 10am at Glen Loy - Erracht car park. Parking is limited here so please car share/pedal out if possible.
Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult, and as always... There will be cake!

Hey Folks,

Thanks to the group that came out today! Good job done on Sunset yesterday to get it running well for summer.

We carried out drainage where necessary, stone pitching sections that were particularly wet to get them running well again. We also improved the ride quality by removing roots from a particularly tricky corner, sweeping the trail to remove loose stones, and widened the entrance to the first river crossing. We hope these changes will allow for an easier ride of the trail.

Hi Team,

It's nearly dig time again! This month we will be heading back to Sunset - Glen Loy, to give it some much needed love.

We will be aiming to touch up the entrance and smooth out any bumps, before working our way down to the river crossings in the lower forest and touching up a few more bits.

We'll be meeting at 10am at Glen Loy - Erracht car park. Parking is limited here so please car share/pedal out if possible.

⚠️ Forrest works Nevis Range ⚠️

“FLS West Region will be undertaking mulching operations to remove Sitka spruce regeneration on some informal ATC tracks and as per map below. We expect the work to commence 17th June 2025 continue into August 2025 and would ask members of the public to please observe all safety signage on the approaches to this location.”

The team were up clearing out the top of Braveheart’s Fury Lower today making the trail a bit safer by clearing fall zones and de-snagging trees from one of the last storms.

Remember our Digs Days run every last Sunday of the month. Looking forward to seeing you at the next one in June.

This Sunday, the 25th of May, we have another dig day coming up! We will be working on Braveheart/Fury Turns - Glen Nevis.

Our main aim is to clear the debris along the trailside as well as ticking off other safety features on the way down.

As usual, the dig will start at 10am, running until 2pm. We will be meeting at Braveheart Carpark and as usual, under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

Come along tomorrow to our AGM, there will be a BBQ and bike available to borrow for the pumptrack!

Hello, it's that time of year again where we would like to invite you all to our AGM on the 10th of May at 6:30pm, at the Pumptrack. 

We thought we would try something different this year, and hold our AGM outdoors at the Pumptrack, where we can showcase our new container, tell you all about whats to come with the LTA this year, and have a blast around the pumptrack afterwards. We are also going to be having a BBQ if the weather is nice. 

We look forward to seeing you all there and having fun after the important stuff!

Hey Folks,

Thanks to the group that came out today! Nice bit of work done to take back the new growth and get Riverbank running prime!

The trail surface and corridor has been raked and brashed to improve the flow, with drainage work and some safety improvements here and there!
