The List Frome is a lovingly put together monthly event guide for the brilliant somerset town of Frome, published by local folk, for local folk. the LIST contains a simple monthly calendar of events supported by high quality independent local venues and businesses.The LIST team are passionate about the town they live and work in, and aim to bring the best of what Frome and surrounding area has to

offer right through the letterboxes of people who like that sort of stuff. With incredible festivals, great music venues and a whole host of creative types, artists and independent businesses we have a whole lot to talk about!We work alongside truely excellent local designers, Blackink, who ensure the magazine stands out and looks great. We have strong environmental credentials, as our magazine is printed on FSC approved stock with vegetable based inks. We only drive 79 miles a month on our village distribution…the rest of the time we walk or pedal!So, keep your eyes peeled for a copy dropping on your doormat or in your local shop or pub and plan your month in and around our lovely somerset town.

GO KID GO ….. is GO!

Way back in early 2020 we started planning a what’s on magazine for families. It was going to come out in time for the 2020 Summer holidays, but then we all know what happened…

Five years on and we still know it’s a great idea. The List is created by parents, and we know what information we want to help us navigate the summer holidays - events, days out, festivals, holiday clubs in the area. But more than that, we want creative projects, kid-friendly recipes, and ideas for keeping everyone happy without spending a penny. So, this June we’ll be producing the first Go Kid Go! Please share this far and wide, especially with kid-friendly businesses that you think should advertise with us!

OUR FEBRUARY ISSUE HAS LANDED 💥 and our first issue of 2025 is full of all you need to know to navigate the month ahead.

The gorgeous Annabel from Frome’s newest creative space, graces our cover. Situated at Black Swan Arts, Kift will offer a space for established and emerging ceramicists as well as running a range courses for beginners and improvers.

We look at the new exhibition, An Uncommon Thread, hosted by which brings together ten contemporary artists living and working in the UK.

You’ll also find some inspiration for Valentines Day in our gift guide, a look at and why shopping at this local level really matters, and find the event and exhibition highlights of the coming month.
