Our funeral home is located on the edge of Saltwell Park in Gateshead. We are here to help

We are saddened to announce John passed away peacefully at home on Saturday 18th October 2025, aged 71 years.

John was the loving husband of Ann. Loving dad of sons Neil and Gavin, daughters Dawn, Vicki, Cassie, Jade and Jasmine,
son-in-law’s Dan and James and his beautiful grandchildren.
John will be forever loved and missed by all of his family and friends.

The funeral service will be held at St Chads Church on Wednesday 12th November 2025 at 10.30am, followed by an interment at Saltwell Cemetery at 11.30am.
Family flowers only please. Donations welcomed in John’s memory to Bryson’s Animal Shelter and can be given at Graveside.

As we are based within the beautiful Saltwell Park, please note that from the Saturday 1st November, the park gates will officially close at 4pm every day 🔒

This does not effect Regent and we will still be open until 5pm Monday-Friday. If you are coming to Regent and the gates are locked, please call us on 0191 4334499 and someone will be able to let you in.

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Doris on 19th October 2025, at Aspen Court Care Home, aged 90 years.

Doris is the wonderful mam of Les, Jeff, Alison and Steven. A loving mother-in-law to Andrea, Alice and Gemma, and a loving Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Auntie, she will be sadly missed by everyone that knew her.

Doris will be forever loved and treasured by all of her family and friends.

A funeral service will take place at Saltwell Crematorium on Thursday 6th November 2025 at 12pm.
All are welcome after the service to celebrate Doris’ life at the Gold Medal Pub.

We have had lovely words from one of our dear families... thank you!

'We would like to thank Natalya and the team for the service we received- it was exceptional! Very reassuring and calming.... our loved one was taken into their care in a timely manner and we felt she was well looked after from the very start. When we saw her in the chapel she was very beautiful and peaceful. The professionalism and advice we were given made the journey so much easier for us. Thank you!

Richie, the devoted husband to the late Dot. A much-loved father of Richard and Diane. Dearly loved father-in-law, grandad, brother, uncle and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart we announce the sudden passing of Scott Andrew McDonald on 5th October 2025, aged 37 years.

Scott was the amazing and loving Son to parents James and Jennifer, Father to his beautiful Daughter Lola and wonderful Brother to Kylie, Craig and Callum.

Scott will be forever adored, loved and missed by all of his family and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd, 13.00pm at Saltwell Cemetery Chapel.
This will be followed by a gathering at the graveside.
All are welcomed after the service to celebrate Scott's life at the Teams Social Club.
