Our funeral home is located on the edge of Saltwell Park in Gateshead. We are here to help

you at a difficult time and are always available to discuss any decisions with you. How we will help:

*Make arrangements, with your preferred officiant and with the crematorium or local
cemetery
*Help you with any special requests to ensure the day is exactly how you want it
*Support you on the day of the funeral and ensure everything runs smoothly
*Be open with costs and give advice on the best value option for the funeral you have in mind
*Give guidance on administrative details that you will need to consider

It is with great sadness we announce that Betty passed away suddenly at home on Wednesday 23rd July 2025, aged 79.

Betty was an amazing and loving wife to the late Alex and a devoted Mam to Ian and Debbie.

Betty will be treasured and missed dearly by all her family and friends.

A funeral service will take place at Saltwell Crematorium on Thursday 14th August 2025 at 12.00.

All are welcome to join the family for refreshments and to celebrate Betty’s life after the funeral at The Nine Pins.

The family have requested family flowers only and donations in memory of Betty to support British Heart Foundation.

It is with great sadness we announce Jim’s passing on the 28th of July 2025, at the RVI Hospital, aged 78 years.

Jim, the much-loved husband to Kay and father to Sharon and Gaynor. Grandad to Lauren, Frankie and Bobby and Great-Grandad to Noah.

Jim will be treasured and missed dearly by all who knew him.

A funeral service will take place at Saltwell Crematorium on Wednesday 13th August 2025 at 12.00pm.

All are welcome to join the family for refreshments and to celebrate Jim’s life at The Stone Trough.

Family flowers only please. Donations can be made in Jim’s memory to support Stroke Association.

It is with great sadness we announce Sandra’s passing on the 13th of July 2025, aged 57 years.

Sandra, the much-loved mam to Natalie, Buster and Curtis, sister to Christine, partner to Jason and Nana to Izzy, Ben, Zach and Alarnah. Sandra will be treasured and missed dearly by all who knew her.

A funeral service will take place at Saltwell Crematorium on Wednesday 30th July at 11.15am. After the service a wake will be held at the Leam Lane Social Club.

The family have requested family flowers only and donations in Sandra’s memory to support PAPYRUS - Prevention of Young Su***de, a cause close to Sandra’s heart.
