The importance of having a Will ✒️
When it comes to having a will, unfortunately there isn’t a one size fits all and everyone’s situation is unique to them and your will should be written to reflect this. Some people find it difficult to know where to start or put writing or updating their will off until another time.
Many people believe that their loved ones will automatically inherit some or all their estate, however it could either go to the wrong person or to the state.
Having a will, is a peace of mind and security for your loved ones. Making a will enables you to plan exactly what will happen to your property and belonging following your passing. This ensures that those you would like to benefit do so, in accordance with your wishes, avoiding any possible disputes between family members or relatives.
Lots of people don’t discuss their funeral arrangements with family and friends. By making a will, it is a good way of letting people know whether you wish to be buried or cremated and any other specific requests you might have for your funeral service, such as music choices, floral arrangements. Speak to one of our funeral directors to discuss putting ‘Pre-Wishes’ into place, so that your requests can be honoured once you are no longer here.
