On the way home from the Barrio Fiesta, the train was cancelled from Central, so a wander around town and spotted Cailyn entertaining the saturday evening crowd as well as people off to see the Stereophonics who had yet to see the taxi queue on Gordon Street.

Two sets of photos today, the first from the Philippino Barrio Fiesta in Strathclyde Park. So masses of traditional and street dancers, dancers, singers and personalities from their country - the food was amazing as well.

Introducing Cailyn, a 14-year-old from Port Glasgow, who is a familiar face among the buskers in Glasgow and a dedicated member of the Prominence Academy of Performing Arts in Inverclyde. She has achieved first place in both her school's Young Musician competition and the Inverclyde Musical Festival.

Cailyn will perform alongside various other acts at Rainbow Valley’s Christmas Concert, taking place at Paisley Abbey on December 7th from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM. For such a young singer Cailyn has a real talent - as so often with families like hers, her sisters also sing although I'm not so sure about their brother Ethan, he likes cameras and is, so I'm told, a great guitar!

Glasgow is always at its best when the sun shines, from street dance, football fans of the visiting Athelic Club from Bilbao to singers getting passers-by joining in and dancing and then there was Dani who I usually see busking, skating in George Square.
