NL GeekFest

After a lot of planning and discussion we are proud to announce our debut event GEEKFEST 2026

GEEKFEST is a celebration of all things geeky - from D&D and video games to anime, comics, film and much more.
Get together with other likeminded geeks and obsess over your favourite fandom!

Our goal is to provide a local, low-cost convention where everyone feels welcome. We plan to visit towns all across North Lanarkshire but we are kicking it all off in our hometown of Airdrie on 4th April 2026 (First day of the Easter holidays!!!! )

We are looking forward to updating you all with more information soon and can't wait to start working on this wonderful opportunity for the community!

Absolutely buzzing to finally announce this new album which has been the culmination of literally years of hard work from both the band and our team here at Scuffed Studios!

It's been a real pleasure to work with Peter Hamilton and the rest of the band. Working with such a talented team of musicians has been an incredibly rewarding experience and we can't wait for everyone to hear this fantastic album.

The Original Mixtet are a jazz, funk and latin ensemble - the new single features the incredibly talented Peter Hamilton as composer, arranger, singer and multi-instrumentalist, the powerful vocal talents of Gabby Rose and solo sax of Magnus Barnwell.
