Other people have “Laundry Day” where they put clothes in the sun to dry... 🧺 ☀️ Here in the UK, we have “Photosynthesis Day.” 🕰️ As soon as the actual sun appears, I am scrambling to put my plants on display like they are at a sunbathing resort. 🌴 The expression on that Pothos says it all—this is a rare and urgent appointment with vitamin D. 😅

Be honest with yourself.

There’s a certain comfort in the crowd. There’s nothing wrong with blending in sometimes, flowing with the wave, or finding peace in being part of a collective whole. You don’t always have to fight a war every single day just to prove how “different” you are.

But the moment trying to fit in starts costing me my happiness, the moment it starts eroding my own self... that’s when I have to stop.

If blending in means I have to suffocate my own voice, hide my joy, or pretend to be someone I’m not just to be accepted, the price is too high.

When the crowd feels suffocating, it’s a sign. It means you have a uniqueness inside you that is trying to break through. It’s a signal to stop looking outward for approval and to start looking inward to find your own spirit, because just like the flowers in that field, not a single petal of yours was meant to be a perfect copy of someone else’s.

Every version of you is worthy of love. The version of me that smoothly navigates the crowd, Even the messy version of me, the version that doesn’t have it all figured out, or the version that makes mistakes and the version of me that realizes it’s time to step away and stand on my own. I don’t need to be perfect to earn my space in this world.

If fitting in is costing me my peace, it’s time to choose your unique different path.

Find your own shape, and live in it.

SubhanaAllah!🫶

Mountains have always been my favorite, and I feel like no camera could ever truly capture this beauty of Scotland. But what moves me the most is how clouds play light and shadow on the hills, and the sudden rain that so often leaves a rainbow behind.
