OUT TODAY! 💃 MYKI’s label debut EP ‘Legz & Soul’ is out today on all formats! Thanks to everyone that’s supported this one so far, all of the vinyl pre-orders were packaged last night and flying through the night towards your front door. One Eye Witness are shipping out to your local record stores as we speak, and if that won’t come soon enough the digital EP is available for download via Bandcamp and streaming. The link on our profile to Bandcamp is the best way to support the artist and our label. We’ve sold about half of our stock here at HQ already so don’t leave this one too long as we’ll be sold out in the next 24 hours. Thanks to MYKI for having us onboard to release this record for him, we know how proud he is of this EP - and rightly so! Smooth and bumpin’ house music that sounds amazing in the club with 2 mixes to boot on the A-side, and a B-side packed with dub-house and garage-tinged goodness. This is CKNOWEP76 🔥

⏰ 2 DAYS TO GO! 🔉 B2 - MYKI - Holy Stab

We conclude on this mini series of deep dives into each of the 4 tracks on MYKI’s label debut “Legz & Soul” EP. The B2 track leans even further into MYKI’s taste for morphing stabs over a rolling mix of house and garage flavours. This one sounds particularly special on the vinyl version - you can grab your copy via the link on our profile (Bandcamp) which comes with streaming and lossless downloads too. Roll on Friday 18th Sept for the full release! And remember to give a follow too ❤️🐌

🧠 B1 - MYKI - Get Out (forthcoming)

Our deep dive into MYKI’s forthcoming ‘Legz & Soul’ EP continues today with a look at B1 ‘Get Out’. MYKI’s love for reverb and delay noodling on intricate stab patterns is encapsulated on both B-side tracks - endless tension and atmosphere on this number especially. Test pressing is sounding fantastic, you can pre-order your copy on vinyl ahead of release Friday 18 Sept via the link on our profile (Bandcamp). Only 7 days to go to release day! ❤️

👁️ Distributed by One Eye Witness ~~~ MYKI - Legz & Soul EP | Craigie Knowes (CKNOWEP76)

MYKI joins Craigie Knowes for his label debut ‘Legz & Soul’ EP. Moody and tense house-music mastery with the ghosts of garage-past blended seamlessly into the groove of title track ‘Legz & Soul’. The lead Vocal Mix is accompanied by a Dub Mix to round off the A-side giving DJs an alternative stripped back version should the night call for something a touch darker. ‘Get Out’ is a moulding and morphing dub-house outing that changes endlessly on top of rolling and hypnotic drums to take the lead on the B-side. ‘Holy Stab’ continues in the same vein - rolling and shifting delay applied to beautiful bouncing dub stabs. A real masterclass in high quality house jams from start to finish with something for every dancefloor environment.

The response to our post from yesterday celebrating Harvey McKay’s work on his outstanding Glasgow Sound System EP has been incredible. Thank you so much to everyone that has bought the 12” or digital EP so far. We’ve restocked this one for a 3rd time this morning by adding 30 more copies to our Bandcamp. If you missed yesterday’s message the key takeaway is that all money raised by this record will be passed back to Harvey’s estate to be used in his name for music related projects that will benefit the local community. Dance music can be a fickle place at times but the genuine sense of community and love shown to this project in the last 24 hours has been wonderful. Rest in Peace Harvey, so glad the world is clearly as excited about this project as you were. Thank you all so much ~ Max & Mitch ❤️
