We've just published a new blog all about our recent shoot with Freedom Boat Club Loch Lomond. This project brought together everything we love about Scotland and outdoor content, and apparently it also gave Jamie an excuse to hop on the big inflatable.

Over two days on the water, we captured cinematic movement, clean stills, aerial drone footage, and moments that make their membership experience stand out The blog breaks down our approach and why strong visuals matter so much for outdoor and adventure brands.

Throwback! This has sat neglected on our hard drives and is too good not to get the love it deserves 🥐 🤤

A brand new baking school fresh out the oven, the Wheatberry Team hired us to film a promotional launch video and shoot a series of stills for their baking school. The primary aim was to build awareness for the classes in their state-of-the-art facility in Glasgow, showcasing both the space and a class in action.

As we also designed their website, so a new section was added for the baking school, separate from their main bakery, which provides Scotland's best croissants (that's a proper award btw) to the best cafes across central Scotland. This required a new booking system to be implemented along with the new pages. We used used bespoke, genuine, quality images to help build the visual look of the pages. I have absolutely no love whatsoever for websites plastered with stock or AI imagery. not only do they look absolutely garbage, it's just such a wasted opportunity .

All in all, a vibrant and fun day that showcases a day that is certainly memorable and different. A very tasty and fun day for us filming this and an opportunity to film people in the moment, which gives some amazing, authentic shots you just can't stage.

Meet Shannon, our new Junior Content Creator and the newest member of the Squinty Pixels family... literally.
She's Jamie's niece and below is a photo of them from when she was tiny(er) and Jamie was 13, with absolutely no idea they'd end up working together in the future.

Shannon joins us fresh from graduating UWS with a First Class Honours in Events Management and Marketing. She's officially swapping pouring coffees and pints for writing and socials. She will be handling your social content, copywriting, scheduling and anything that involves keeping your online presence running smoothly.

When she's not at work, you can usually find her on the back of a horse. She spent 5 summers as a riding instructor at Camp America and loves exploring Scotland (when she's actually in the country). Now she's bringing her love of storytelling and content creation to Squinty Pixels and we're buzzing to have her on the team!

🚤 When it comes to cinematic environments, you don't get much better than the majestic beauty of Loch Lomond.

Take a look at our Behind The Scenes video from a recent shoot for Freedom Boat Club Loch Lomond and the wider Freedom Boat Club team.

Set in the picturesque shores, this was a two day shoot to capture as much fresh footage and photos from this unique location as possible. From ground footage, aerial footage and interviews, it was quite the assignment that Jamie and Taylor smashed. With over 450+ video deliverables and over 150 images images supplied for the client, including a range of testimonial videos, it was quite the achievement!

A massive thank you to Mike and Ashlee for looking after us. Jamie even managed a shot in the big inflatable. More of that to come tomorrow in glorious slow motion...

Nothing beats hearing positive feedback straight from the client. Quite simply - it's the hero content that builds trust and integrity.

A huge thank you to Martin Bruce of MB Fire and Security for giving us an overview of his experience working with Squinty Pixels. From an initial sit down chat over a coffee, we put a proposal together that worked around what would grow their business. Two simple options; what is essential and what is desirable.

From building their website, producing a promotional video and creating visual assets, to designing printed materials such as security signage and flyers, we created a full creative package.

More recently, they are on our monthly video content service where we keep their social media channels populated with professional reels of their current projects. All projects are filmed, edited and colour graded before being posted directly onto their channels. And Martin has to do is arrange times and confirm posts. It could not be any simpler.

We are all packed and heading back up the road after filming at the Excel today at the .technology.show at the Excel in London for

With two of our team onsite today, we started the day sharpish with some interviews that we delivered for the client to post on the day on their socials.

With a mixture of b-roll from human interaction, product displays and even the barman making fancy cocktails in glorious slow motion, we filmed every inch of their stand. This will then be edited and graded by us, in house in our Glasgow studio, and delivered back to the client as a fully polished event video. So keep your eyes peeled!

We also filmed further interviews and product overviews, with a mixture of dual cam setups and moving gimbal interviews.

All in all, a very productive day. Hauling the kit around the underground though - glad Jamie is a big lad!
