I’m really happy to finally share the official trailer for my new short documentary, ‘Between the Lines’.

For more than thirty years, Jim has written letters to people in recovery around the world, putting pen to paper as a way of reaching out, sharing experience and finding connection through the written word.

Making this film with Jim has been a deeply personal experience for me.

Between the Lines will have its World Premiere at the Festival this October.

With Airbourne’s sixth album now out, it felt like a good time to share some frames from the promo for Alive After Death (Last Plane Out), which we made earlier this year.

We joined the band for a run of shows across their European tour. 𝐀𝐈𝐑𝐁𝐎𝐔𝐑𝐍𝐄 are an incredible live band, their performances are relentless and the energy between them and their fans is electric. We wanted the promo to live right in the middle of that, getting the cameras as close to the band and the crowd as we could, capturing the intensity of those shows.

As Glasgow welcomes the Commonwealth Games, we’re revisiting one of the films we created ahead of the King’s Baton Relay.

Working with Scottish designer Tim Norman, the film explored the craftsmanship behind the baton, tracing its journey from workshop to world stage.

We were drawn to the craft, the patience, and the process of creating something that would go on to connect people around the world.

‘Out Of Office’ by Kialy Tihngang , produced by and for the Too Happy Studios Artist Film Commission plays at two brilliant Scottish film festivals this weekend!

Alchemy Film and Moving Image Festival have the film installed from today until Sunday 3rd May in the Borders Textile Towerhouse so there is plenty of opportunity to watch! Kialy will take part in a Q&A on Sunday morning - this is ticketed so make sure you book in advance.

Over in Edinburgh the film will play tonight - Friday 1st May - 6pm as part of the Scottish Shorts Collection fantastic film festival.
