A few people have reached out about the JD Twitch interview providing some comfort this week, so I thought it was worth sharing some excerpts for others who might be interested. The main motivation behind chatting to Keith, was to put Optimo (Espacio) into context for a generation who missed the weekly Sunday phenomenon. 10 Years of Sound Metaphors at Sub Club 🎛️

Opening a record shop in 2015 was a bold move, opening one in Berlin was even bolder. For it to become a celebrated staple, must-visit haven, speaks a lot to what the guys have built over the past decade 💪

Beyond the shop itself, the guys have become renown international DJ’s and promoters with insane 10th anniversary celebrations taking over Berghain with a series of slamming line up’s 🥁

Glasgow! My dear Axel Boman returns for the first time(!!) since our legendary Kelvingrove party in 2017. People talked about that one for years afterwards and the Talaboman boys consider it one of their top 3 all time gigs 🥰

Axel remains one of my favourite DJ's producers and people and can't wait to join him at La Cheetah Club next Friday. Tickets in comments. Get it to 😘

I’ve been deeply saddened about the JD Twitch diagnosis over the past week. He has been a long time influence and certain aspects of my life are unimaginable without the special people and music I’ve been introduced to through

I interviewed Keith in early 2024 and we had a really great chat answering lots of questions I’ve always been curious about. Unfortunately one of the mics used has made the audio quality a bit unlistenable in parts and even after some tinkering by the more technically minded, it doesn’t do the conversation justice.

The past year has flown by and I hadn’t given it much more thought about how to present the conversation until this past week. It occurred to me that sharing the transcript is maybe the most fitting tribute I can pay at this moment. Hopefully it’s comforting to others who are feeling a similar sadness right now.

As someone who has dedicated his life to sharing music, bringing people together and supporting others, we are better for it 🥰

As the booker of the incredible O***m Club (amongst others) Vidis has booked all the discerning names you’d know and has been instrumental in putting the Vilnius scene on the map.

His productions are proving to be modern classics with releases on and a belter of a remix of Glasgow’s own Wraetlic - a huge hit with Ame, etc.
