With her formative years spent immersed in drum & bass and acid techno during the early days of Bogotá's DIY rave scene, including Bogotrax, Mary Paz, aka Violence Mary, quickly developed a love for dubbed-out, postpunk, and new wave-inspired leftfield sounds outside of the typical Latin Americanisms.
Later, working with organisations and institutions such as Riverside Festival, Sub Club, Convenanza, Salon des Amateurs, and as A&R for Darkroom Dubs, the label run by Silicone Soul, gave her a first hand appreciation of underground club music culture.
She has also DJ'd regularly at Darkroom Dubs label parties at venues including Urban Spree (Berlin), The Berkeley Suite (Glasgow), and Het Leienpaleis (Antwerp), while holding a residency at DAda in Toulouse.
