Hi. Been a while. Here's a new release for you, the first and last EP from my band .gla (rip)

Available now on the gm bandcamp alongside some tapes. The ep was written over the last couple years by Ryan, Isaac, Maya, Lewis and myself. It was live-tracked and mixed by Fraser McPhail at Audio Lounge and mastered by Davie Campbell.

If you're familiar with moss already, if you've come to any shows or have already checked out the EP - thank you. If you've not, go ahead.

“Bête Noire” is the sophomore album from Kay Fabian; the solo project of Chris Cusack, long-term member of celebrated Scottish post-punk/krautrock cult heroes Outblinker, as well as Dead Or American and Hey Enemy. The project harnesses some of the dirty electronics and darker atmospheres of Outblinker and pursues them down dark alleys, into bleaker places, with the occasional emergence of some unashamedly romantic rays of light.

OUT NOW! Set Piece is a mysterious half existing music group from Glasgow featuring words, vocals and tuba from local screenwriter and musician Celia Morgan (Officer!/ ) dynamic and exceptional guitar shapes courtesy of Matthew Gilliland ( ) backed up by rhythm section components Andrew Doig ( , , Robert Sotelo) on bass (plus vocals and melodica)and Chris White (Nightshift/ ) on drums.

Set Piece is the 8 song debut from this pure enigma and it calls upon Stereolab, Yo La Tengo, Sonic Youth, Movietone and Soeza in places.

Created over several sessions throughout 2023 at Chime Studios in Glasgow with Ross McGowan at the helm, the project was instigated by Doig, who invited the other players to create parts around his root bass structures.

The resulting experiment is a sturdy but dream-like indie rock collection with a strangely maritime feel, punctuated expertly by the personal and intimate wordplay Celia's lyrical writing provides and the oddly sentimental effect of prominent melodica passages.
