I am still at the market gathering market information even though it is already night.

This is the level of passion I have developed for this type of employment I gave myself. My work na just to dey waka waka for market dey ask prices 🤣🤣🤣

Palm oil price fall yakata at Eke Ozzi market today.
Today being 8th October 2025, the price of 25 litres of palm oil (mmanu nri) at Eke Ozzi market located in Igbo Eze North local government area of Enugu state was ₦61,000.

For someone that bought at Obollo Afor market two days ago, that means a ₦4,000 loss. This is why palm oil is a crazy business. Today you are smiling, tomorrow you are crying.

The reason for the fall in price is beviof the large supply of palm oil at the market compared to the demand.

But no matter what,my followers that stored palm oil must smile. You think it is easy to save money and have the mind to do palm oil storage. Abeg make them smile. E no easy.

TOMATOES PRICE UPDATE
Today being 8th October 2025, a basket of tomatoes as you can see in the picture below is selling for ₦3,000.

Currently there are lots of baskets they have not yet been sold at the market. So if you are living close to the market,go there now and buy for your family consumption or for your business.

But why will the price fall like this? It is not fair. This is not encouraging for farmers. But I believe it will go up before it finish in the farm. How much does it cost them to transport it from Kogi or Benue to this place to make them sell it at such a poor price.

May God make farmers to smile.

It could be in basket or bag. There is equally no uniform price. The price depends on the demand and supply that day. And also the bargaining power of the seller or the buyer.

It is always cheaper to buy from those bringing from home than from those dealers. If you try buying from dealers,they will kpaii you with price. But for you to buy from those bringing from home, you must go as early possible.

So when buying, just budget whatever you wish and go to the market and buy.

This type of business is popular in Obollo Afor and Eke Ozzi market.

It is called TRAYALUCK business. They give you a card to choose some selected images. You choose. If the one you chose is the right one, they will call you to come and carry this. That it is all yours.

And to select image, you pay from 1k and above depending on the value of the items in question.

In this business, there major customers are market women. They don't joke with this. Early in the morning,they will choose and ask the person with the card to comeback later in the day to collect his money. Some women play more than once in a day with the hope of increasing their chances of winning.

The winner of this will certainly be happy.

The rice was sold two months ago and it is now the customer is sending this saying the vendor should refund the money.

My question is:what could make rice to go bad like this under two months?

The customer is saying the fault is from the vendor, while the vendor is saying the fault is from the customer.

Yesterday at Obollo, those selling Rice in wheelbarrow were selling 8 cups for one thousand naira.
If you see how customers are rushing them, you begin to wonder what is going on.

One funny thing is that they give you multiple cups to choose from and it only takes "correct eyes" to see which is good which is not.

The problem is not buying 8 cups, the problem is which cup are they using to sell to you. This particular seller was using good cup to sell. I really commend get for that.

Foodstuffs is now cheap, but no money to buy 🤷🤷🤷

This is a broken heaps of abacha. It is mostly sold by retailers.
It is gotten from the broken pieces from moulds of abacha. Most times it is purposely broken into these pieces by the retailers.This holds sway when the big vendors must have left the scene. The big vendors don't sell it this way.

Some persons actually love it this way because it allows them to get a smaller volume compared to moulds.

There is a woman I love so much in Obollo because of how intentional she is in marketing her abacha. The packaging is out of this world. She sells mostly to all these long distance travellers. I will post the picture one day.

That head of aribo,okpologo or jiapa was sold for ₦2,600 at Obollo Afor market yesterday being 6th of October 2025.

Bear in mind that this particular head of jiapa is bigger than the other ones I have been posting. The other ones are equivalent to a custard painter. But this particular one is bigger

For some of my followers asking what this is, it is just like semo. The way semo is prepared is the same way it is prepared, just that this one is heavier.
