ated by Etienne Kubwabo. Our founder had been rooted in the culture of story telling, film and comic books since he was a youngster and being a creative in the film industry was always a dream of his and that translated to comic books highlighting his childhood stories. His struggles to fit in his new home Scotland, pushed him to create comic book stories to act as his escape. We’ve seen what works, and we’ve certainly seen what NOT to do. KƎ Comics is the product of a comic book guy that still believes the magic of the culture, stories and afrofutirism. We believe in real stories, stories that entertain you and make you escape to another world. We create comic books for our audience and fans. Get ready to dive into an epic story of Hyena Man. This comic book is the start of Jelani’s journey in the Etianverse. Written by the best selling author Etienne Kubwabo with co-writer Craig Andrew Mooney. The beautiful and colourful art by the talented Ben Wilsonham, this 44-page comic plunges readers deep into Will Akinyemi’s journey as the Hyena Man also known as Jelani. Despite his condition, he still has a thirst for life and seeing the world while he can. With vibrant and colourful visuals, Ben manages to capture Afro-futurism themes in breathtaking visuals, action, emotional depth sequences and shows you the Africa, you never seen before.

Set in future, in this issue, Will is introduced to a new world due to events that change his life forever. It is a journey of self-discovery as Will loses his identity in his quest to be a capable Hyena Man before embracing his past once more. Action takes place in Nigeria and the villages which now make up the country, Edinburgh, Brussels, and the ruins of Copenhagen.
