Head to Market Rasen market place TOMORROW (Sat) to enjoy a fantastic final day for . All of these are free with no booking required - just be there!
1) 📖 IN ADDITION TO THE ADVERTISED WOLDS WORD FEST PROGRAMME at 10.00 am at St. Thomas' Market Rasen local writer Diana Elizabeth Carroll will read from her forthcoming book ‘Rooted in love: Resources for marriage and partnership from beginning to end’ (Wild Goose Publications ). Drawing on her professional experience as a priest and her personal experience of marriage, Diana has curated a collection of resources for couples and their loved ones that emphasises inclusivity, equality, and community.
2) At The Auction Shed discover Nature Calling's "Shelf Life" by INSTAR, an artistic project that examines the balance between farming and nature. View the stunning prints created, collect a limited-edition print, and create your own prints inspired by the Lincolnshire Wolds National Landscape. This project is part of the National Landscape’s Nature Calling Programme. 10:30 - 12:30, at The Auction Shed, Market Rasen Market Place.
3) Make sure your in the Market Place at 11.00 am to 11.30 am or 12.00 pm to 12.30 pm to watch "Street Stories" from Market Rasen's Creative Community Project, by Taylor Made Arts. Telling stories in the street! Our amazing group of local young people will use their newfound street theatre skills and creativity (honed in workshops and rehearsals,) to tell you tantalising tales straight from the pages of your favourite story book... fit for all the family! There will be two performances: 11.00 am to 11.30 am and 12.00 pm to 12.30 pm.
1) Opening the doors to a very cool interior will be St. Thomas' Market Rasen where music will be played. The Church Rooms will also be open for refreshments and you'll also find a second hand book sale under the Auction Shed. Times: Saturday morning.
