What kind of holiday do you enjoy most??
We don’t go abroad together often anymore, mostly because we take the boys with us on holiday. But honestly, these are my favourite holidays…

I’ve been asked before if feeding the dogs raw makes it difficult to take them away and honestly no it doesn’t, we just take their food in a cool box and pack it whilst it’s frozen! So far we’ve taken a week of food for both dogs.

ad What do you think? …I might have accidentally created Scotlands most spoiled chickens!

This little corner used to be nothing more than a dumping ground. I wanted it to be more than just a chicken run, so we added raised beds too (veggie protection coming soon… before they help themselves!).

The coop and run have always been there, but these upgrades have made such a difference. The girls have loads more space to scratch around, and it’s made life so much easier for us too, especially when we go away.

The girls’ upgrades include:
🐓 A run extension with a large weather cover
🚪 An app-controlled automatic coop door
🌾 An automatic chicken feeder
💧 An insulated waterer
🪵 Perches and treat caddies

I was so happy to see that pebbledash go, we should have done this YEARS ago!
The garage blends right into the trees now! Even the mono blocks don’t look so bad after painting it! Another little upgrade made to improve our garden. I can’t wait to show you the chicken area! 🐔🐣🐓

We used a £15 paint sprayer attached to a compressor both of which we already had! It made painting the stone chips so easy! Even better that the paint was multi surface, we plan to replace this garage door when we have the money. 💰 paint used- All coat range

What part you most interested in seeing? ⬇️
1. New fence that can actually support itself! 🫠
2. Chicken run/ vegetable garden 🪏🪴
3. Paint the 1980’s style garage 🎨
4. Remove white stones- replace with paving/patio! 🙌🏼
