Dr Salisu Uba, FCIPS, Appointed as Principal Advisor to the Global ESG Leadership Organization.

London – We are pleased to announce that NatQuest ™ Chief Executive Officer, Dr Salisu Uba, FCIPS, has been appointed as a Principal Advisor to the London-based Global ESG Leadership Organisation, joining a distinguished cohort of international experts shaping the future of ESG, sustainability, and responsible innovation.

The Organisation brings together senior leaders from government, business, academia, finance, technology, and social impact. This new group of Principal Advisors reflects a broad and influential range of expertise across climate solutions, ESG strategy, ethical finance, corporate transparency, and global development.

Dr Uba joins esteemed peers including founders, sustainability strategists, climate innovators, public-sector leaders, and transformation specialists from leading institutions across the United Kingdom, Europe, North America, the Middle East, Asia, and Africa.

Digital Nigeria International Conference 2025 – NatQuest CTO Highlights

Our CTO, Mr Abraham Onoja, represented NatQuest ™ at the Digital Nigeria International Conference 2025, a landmark event declared open by His Excellency the Vice President of Nigeria, Senator Kashim Shettima. The conference featured a keynote address by the Honourable Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Dr ‘Bosun Tijani, and remarks from the Director-General of NITDA Nigeria, Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, CCIE.

Mr Onoja participated in the panel session on “Broadband – the Backbone of Digital Transformation” alongside Otuya Okecha and Dr Umar Sani Abdullahi.

He emphasised that broadband infrastructure only creates value when it supports meaningful digital activity. As he noted, a highway without vehicles wastes capital. His role, as CTO of NatQuest, is to build the high-performance systems that make that infrastructure productive.

Key points from his contribution:
① Broadband as an innovation accelerator
Broadband compresses development cycles for AI systems from months to days. This allows NatQuest to prototype, refine and deploy rapidly—strengthening Nigeria’s digital innovation capacity.

② Enabling a digital export economy
NatQuest’s expertise-as-a-service model converts connectivity into high-value, globally relevant work. By linking skilled Nigerian professionals to international opportunities, we demonstrate that Nigeria can export knowledge at scale.

③ Broadband as the new production layer
He encouraged the audience to see broadband not as a consumption tool but as a production platform. With the right systems on top of it, Nigeria can compete with established BPO markets and build a sustainable, AI-enabled economy.

His message was clear: the future is not only about connecting Nigeria, but about what we build on that connection.
