Salisu Uba is a strategic leader in digital procurement and supply chain management, with years of experience driving impact and business outcome across multiple industries. He focuses on using Artificial Intelligence (AI), Blockchain and emerging technologies to make procurement and supply chain efficient and effective.

As Founder and CEO of NatQuest and OpenTenderAI, Salisu has led efforts to reshape procurement and contract management, applying AI to build smarter, more agile, and resilient systems that match business goals and adapt to changing market needs. Recognised as an exceptional talent in Digital Technology by the UK government in 2022, he is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Supply Chain at the University of Strathclyde, UK, and a mentor at the Founder Institute.

Previously, Salisu led digital procurement transformation at the Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre (AMRC) in Sheffield, worked in consulting for secure organisations across the UK, and supported oil and gas supply chain with several operators and the Nigerian government in Ministry of finance, treasury, and defence sectors. Salisu has trained over 5,000 managers and executives from Fortune 500 companies and government organisations worldwide in his field.

He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (FCIPS), a contributor to the Global Standard in Procurement and Supply Chain, and a member of the CIPS UK Education Discussion Group. He has published numerous academic and industry articles, journals, and book chapters.
He holds a PhD in Engineering Management from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, an MSc in Supply Chain Management from Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, and a BSc (Hons) in Accountancy from the University of Maiduguri.
