Ladies, hear me loud and clear… 👂🏾🔥

The moment a man asks “So, what do you bring to the table?”, that’s your cue to end the conversation and RUN. 🚩

Let’s be real, Odogwu no dey ask that kind question.
It’s lazy, insecure men that come with that tired line. 💁🏾‍♀️

And before you twist it, Odogwu doesn’t necessarily mean he’s rich. No.
An Odogwu is a man of vision, a man of intention, a man who knows what he wants and goes for it with confidence and clarity.

He doesn’t question your value, he recognizes it.
He doesn’t audition women, he chooses one and builds with her.

You are not on trial. You are not submitting a résumé.
You are the table. And the chair. And the whole room, honestly. 😌✨

So sis, if he hits you with “what do you bring to the table?”
RUN. Don’t walk. RUN. 🏃🏾‍♀️💨

🧠 Food for Thought: Who Truly Carries the Family Legacy?

In many communities across Nigeria, especially in the Igbo culture, there’s still a deeply rooted belief that only sons “count” when it comes to legacy. If a woman gives birth to daughters but no son, whispers follow. People say, “She hasn’t truly given birth,” or “Who will carry the father’s name?” or “you need to go one more, it will be a boy.”

It’s a belief that has, for generations, shaped how families are viewed and how daughters are valued.

But then… comes Ifunaya.

Ifunaya, whose story is currently moving hearts across TikTok, didn’t need to be a son to prove her strength and love. Her father, who has two sons, became seriously ill and neglected by his siblings, needed urgent help. And guess who stepped in?

Not the sons.

It was Ifunaya, his daughter, who rose to the occasion. She took the lead against all odds brought him to the U.S. for proper care. A daughter, often overlooked in traditional thinking, became her father’s lifeline.

She may not be carrying the family’s name. But, she definitely carried his life.

🔔 Let’s be clear: This post is not about underestimating or criticizing sons. Many sons are loving, responsible, and committed.

This is about educating and reminding us all that every child, male or female, has equal value.
Legacy isn’t in a name alone. It’s in love, sacrifice, and action.

💬 To every daughter out there: You are enough.

To every parent: Value your children equally. You never know who will become your Ifunaya.

🏡 Where Do You Really Call Home?

We grow up believing we shouldn’t forget our roots.
That home is sacred.
That it’s where you’ll always be welcome.
That no matter how far life takes you, home will open its arms when you return.

But then you hear stories like Ifunaya’s.
Her father, a man who gave his life to service and family, retired and returned to his village, Enugu-Ukwu, in search of peace.
He expected rest. Familiarity.
But what he found was neglection and cruelty from the very people he thought would protect him.

Still, with the help of her daughter, Ifunaya, he left, and returned to the U.S., hoping to find dignity and peace.
But even there, his younger brother, his own blood, hounded him.

No land to rest in.
No peace in family.
No true place to lay his burdens down.

So I ask again:
Where is home?

Because maybe home isn’t where you were born.
Maybe it’s not even where your family lives.

👉🏾 Maybe home is wherever your soul can finally stop fighting to survive.
Where you can stop shrinking… stop explaining… and just be.
That place may not be familiar, but it will feel like freedom.

So really…
Where do you call home?
