I remember my days living and working in Nigeria. Every time I interacted with my patients, many of them would end up telling me, “Nigeria does not fit you.” We would laugh about it together, but I heard it so often that it became a running joke. Soon, even my friends and complete strangers were saying the same thing to me.

One day, something happened that completely shocked me. I was walking through the market when I saw a pastor preaching. As soon as I passed by, he looked straight at me and said, “Nne, I see you traveling soon.” I couldn’t help but burst into laughter! At that point in my life, the thought of traveling had never even crossed my mind.

But looking back, I now realize that God was speaking to me through these people patients, friends, strangers planting a seed in my heart. Slowly, I began to believe that perhaps this was part of God’s plan for me. And today, the rest is history.

It reminds me of this powerful verse:

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I set you apart.” – Jeremiah 1:5

God truly had my journey mapped out long before I even thought about it and he moved mountains and raised men to bring it into manifestation.

Therefore whoever you are, whatever your situation is, the lord sees it and when the time is ripe you will experience the hand of God in your life and your mouth will be full of unending testimonies … amen!!!

Have a blessed week.

Which is the best? Buying an old car on finance or a Brand New car on finance?? Or paying in Full?

When you’re thinking about buying a car, the first big decision is whether to go for an older used car or a brand new one and whether to pay upfront or finance it. Each choice has its own pros and cons, and the “best” option really depends on your budget, lifestyle, and what matters most to you.

Buying an older car on finance usually means your monthly payments will be much lower, which is a big win if you’re trying to keep your costs down. The car has already done most of its depreciating, so you won’t lose as much value over time. But older cars can come with hidden repair costs, and if it’s out of warranty, you’ll be the one footing the bill.

Going for a brand new car on finance is tempting, you get that new car smell, the latest technology, and peace of mind because it’s under warranty. Your monthly payments will be higher, though, and the car will lose value very quickly in the first few years. If you plan to keep it long term, this option can still make sense since you’ll get years of reliable use before it starts costing you in repairs.

Paying cash for a car is the most stress free choice because you fully own it from day one. No debt, no interest, no monthly bills. But the downside is you need to have a big chunk of money saved up, and you don’t want to wipe out your emergency savings just to buy a car. It’s about finding that balance between avoiding debt and staying financially safe.

For most people, the sweet spot is buying a slightly used car maybe 2 to 4 years old and either paying cash or getting a short term, low interest finance plan. That way, you avoid the big depreciation hit, keep your payments manageable, and still get a car that’s reliable and modern. It’s all about picking the option that gives you peace of mind without stretching your finances too thin.

If you think it’s about the men in their lives then think again…One thing is certain, if u lack self love as a woman you will suffer seriously.

No one will love you more than you love yourself…. Love yourself first.. you are the weaker gender for a reason.

Anyone who lives abroad knows that whenever you plan a trip back home and mention it to friends, family, or acquaintances, there will always be a few who ask you to bring one or two things from Nigeria. Dry fish is almost always at the top of that list mainly because of how scarce and expensive it is overseas.

I believe that’s exactly the situation with Benny. That’s probably why she bought such a large quantity of fish. It’s unlikely to be just for her family’s consumption; I’m sure she intends to share it with friends and loved ones as well.

Because honestly, this is far too much fish for one person alone!

What do you think?

I pay myself 10% of my salary every month… from this 10% I buy my personal needs as a woman but if I don’t have much need dat month I still put the money aside…it adds up as time goes on.. it helps me live a budget life and spend only on needs.

FUNNY TRAITS ABOUT MOST BLACK WOMEN LIVING IN DIASPORA ( Uk, US, Canada etc).

1.They become extra hardworking…they will work shift back to back non stop until u start shouting 🤣🤣🤣you think ur wife is lazy??? Bring her abroad 🤣🤣They are very serious hard workers 🤣

2.They don’t joke with shopping and spending money 🤣🤣is SHEIN, TEMU and TikTok shop a joke to you 🤣🤣They spend money but they still spend with sense.

3.They start adding flesh immediately they arrive, from skinny to chubby to extra chubby 🤣🤣

4.They are Big time Money Savers and investors , they save as much as they spend…

5.They fight and challenge all forms of abuse and manipulation, the system was built to protect women ofcourse… so it’s either you respect yourself or they teach you a lesson… but then some of them capitalize on this and become unnecessarily hostile and rebellious to their partners..

Did I miss anything??

Pay small small ( payment plan) is a trap, having 6 to 10 direct debits on one salary plus credit cards…it’s enticing but at the long run you will find out you have been working to enrich these companies… flee from it.

The African mentality of choosing a male child over a female needs to be abolished in this age, because that your male child fit turn to Agege tomorrow ooo… Agege na water nowadays oo… embrace your female children. No gender is more superior .

24/08/2025

Night shift speeds up biological ageing and increases the risk of age related health problems if done long term. “Study says”🤔but then, something must k.ill a man.😄
