David Dent MBE served as an Army nurse, specialising in intensive care and battlefield trauma, before retiring in 2000 as a result of injuries sustained during Service. Today, he is a global vice president at Parexel, a global clinical development partner, and an ambassador for The Open University’s Disabled Veterans’ Scholarship Fund. Here, he talks to Civvy Street about his military career, adapting to life after service and finding a new direction.
