Holy hiatus! Has it really been a year (and a bit), since the last ☯️AP post!?? 😲

Full disclosure; the first few post-pandemic years haven't been easy on a personal level, which has pretty much torpedoed everything else! 💥 HOWEVER, ☯️AP isn't going anywhere, if anything, the plan is to build on what we've done before and, do it better than ever. It'll just take a bit more time than first realised.

If you've contacted the page or email address over the last few years but, not received a reply, apologies, they've been largely unmonitored since just before the last lockdown ended. When things pick up again, this is the first place it'll be announced, so look out for that!

With that said, hope everyone had a great Xmas & new years and, that 2024 will be your best year yet! 🎶😎🎶

🎶It's all gone quiet over there🎶

Yes, it has (thank you very much "Facebook Protect" 🤷🏻) buuut, after new year's things will be picking up again online, with more new and epic music being featured, so keep an eye out and send some of your music loving friends towards our 👍🏻 button!

Edinburgh electro-musician, PINLIGHT, has released some new music!

She's teamed up with fellow-Scottish musician, Tom Houston, to release 'Belle Electra', which seeks to reimagine the world of the self-proclaimed "most remarkable man in the world", Walford Bodie and his assistant Isabelle Henry, using a combination of synths, subtle vocals & spoken words to tell the story. It's quite epic.

We normally try to keep it all about the music over here but, the travesty occurring in the far East right now just can't be overlooked by anyone.

Thoughts and sympathy go out to everyone directly impacted by it. Those staying behind to defend their homes are nothing short of heroes. There are also those just fighting to survive, in a war they didn't see coming.

It's enough to make the rest of us feel powerless but, there are ways for us to help the humanitarian aid on the ground. Ok, so there's been less to celebrate the last couple of years than most of our lives but, it won't always be like this...right? 🤨

We might be a bit away from "normality" yet but, whatever you've got planned for this year, always make sure you pack a compass, just in case you're knocked off course (think about it... 😉).

All the best for 2022 & the next 22+ years, whatever you do do (heh!) this year, make it count! 🤘🏻

Scottish musician, Linzi Clark, is set to drop a new album!

'All I Have Now' is billed as her "most personal project to date", as it focuses on the topics of self-awareness, purpose and identity.

As you might imagine, it's a very soulful album throughout, with lots of sombre undertones, an evocative melody and some slightly provocative lyrics, all of which just reinforce the emotion behind the music.

The album lands on November 5, so keep an eye on her pages for the update!

"Unsettling Scottish artist", Uncle Kid, is about to release a new single!

Taken from his début EP - 'Indistinct Chatter', which we featured earlier this year - 'Lamplig' is a trippy, spoken word single about walking through IKEA, while in emotional turmoil. It really is an eerie track, with quite an evocative video, so if that's your thing, you'll love it!

Scottish musician, Megan Black, is about to drop a new single!

'Sweet Bisexual' is a playful dig at the stigma surrounding bisexuality, while also paying homage to Megan's own journey with her sexuality. The song itself, is extremely funky, very rock 'n roll with a nod to The Rocky Horror Picture Show style of music.
