Up at today for Kasia and Matt’s wedding - and had that wee wave of joy that comes from seeing excellent suppliers - never underestimate how much more joyful everything feels when I know I’m getting great chat and surrounded by real professionals!!

Luci was so nervous that when we got to the vows - all of his, actually excellent, English went right out of his head - and he nearly lapsed back into Italian!!

Today I wore both my “Humanist” hats!
First, off to the always delightful laggan_life - love hanging out with Jackie & Jo for a bit - although the repair bill will be huge - Laura & Dan’s guests took the ROOF OFF THE PLACE!! ❤️❤️

Tonight I was volunteering with Streetcare - a small but very committed band of folk who collect unsold food from donor stores and deliver to homeless shelters!

I was on the M&S pick up - look how much they donated - THANK YOU M&S!! Four shelters got healthy donations so food which was heading for landfill is now going into stomachs…..!

First trip to Harelaw for me this year - don’t know how that is possible frankly…!
These are stunning, as you come to expect from Imac, and I wish I could remember what her dad and I are talking about, but there is a missed opportunity here for a cracking shot of a best man running DOWN the aisle mid ceremony because he was “sans rjngs”

In this special instalment of our celebrant interview series to mark 20 years of humanist marriage we speak to Ivan Middleton. Ivan, now retired, was a celebrant and Secretary of Humanist Society Scotland. He made history, delivering the very first legal humanist wedding ceremony in Scotland for couple Karen and Martin.
