Like attending the Olympics, there's something exhilarating about seeing the best people in the world at something, at that absolute peak of their powers.

This weekend at the Edinburgh International Festival you can do exactly that with Figures In Extinction, a collaboration between the *best choreographer in the world, Crystal Pite, and the *best dance company in the world, Nederlands Dans Theater.

Even if you don't manage to attend our and (Sunday, 3pm), I urge you to abandon your plans and see this.

There's something to suit everyone's tastes this week in Edinburgh. We are performing Audio Described performances of:

Pekku
Shh... What's that noise? A squeak? A squeal? A bird? It's getting louder. Oh dear... Pekku takes a playful look at what happens when you want to be left alone and others have a different idea. A new show for 3 to 6-year-olds

If you can score a ticket, join us at Dundee Rep Theatre tonight for the Audio Described performance of All Will Be Well, a tribute to the city and (in my view) its finest son: Michael Marra.

Featuring a cast of over a hundred different community actors, singers and dancers, this is not to be missed.
