Ruth & Fraser’s Fasque Castle wedding 🤍

On Saturday I had the pleasure of capturing a wonderful wedding in Aberdeenshire, as Ruth & Fraser married on a sunny September day.

Fasque Castle was the setting, preparing for the day in the grand castle rooms, before Fraser took a walk through the grounds to St Andrew’s Chapel to greet guests as they arrived for the ceremony.

Ruth was piped down to the chapel with her closest friends and family, and what followed was a beautiful ceremony, confetti outside the chapel and drinks on the terrace as everyone settled into the afternoon.

As the sun shone, Ruth & Fraser took a little time away together for a walk through the grounds, before heading back to a raucous welcome for speeches and dinner.

There was time still for a quick trip up Cairn O Mount to take in the sweeping views before heading back to the castle to party the night away!

A brilliant day from start to finish at Fasque Castle, and such a lovely Scottish castle wedding to be part of. Heres a little sneak peak 🤍

On Saturday, Lucy & Angus celebrated with family and friends on a fabulous wedding day at Broxmouth Courtyard!

Such a beautiful day, with Lucy preparing with her party in the dressing room, whilst Angus got ready with his team in a courtyard cottage.

As guests arrived, Angus mingled and chatted in the courtyard as the sun shone, whilst Lucy had a first look upstairs with her mum and dad.

Then it was time a for a fantastic ceremony, followed by drinks and canapés in the courtyard with all their family and friends.

Then it was inside for speeches, dinner and, finally, a packed dancefloor to finish the day.

About yesterday…

I had such a wonderful day yesterday capturing the wedding of Ellie & Rico!

They both spent the morning getting ready separately before guests gathered at St Ternan’s Episcopal Church for a meaningful and personal ceremony. Confetti showered these two outside the church, before heading over to Coos Cathedral for drinks, canapés and music out on the lawn.

The sun was shining and the atmosphere was wonderful! Soon enough it was time for speeches and dinner, followed by Ellie & Rico changing into traditional Ghanaian outfits for a sparkler tunnel and a libation led by Rico’s mum — such a meaningful part of the celebration.

Then it was time for the dancing, and oh my was it a lively end to a wonderful day!

As the finishing touches are added to Adrian & Joel’s wedding films this week, I wanted to share another little glimpse of their incredible few days in Scotland.

It so difficult to truly articulate their day in such a short film clip, but their personal vows, reflecting on the journey they’ve been on together and everything that brought them to this moment, were so beautifully written and read.

From getting ready on the morning of the wedding and their ceremony at Thirlestane Castle, to their adventure through Glencoe together, it felt like the perfect way to tell a little piece of their story — an adventure of a lifetime.

Such beautiful words, and such a special few days to have been part of. Can’t wait for Adrian & Joel to see their finished films this week 🤍

Megan & Jeff’s wedding films are almost finished and will be heading their way next week, so I wanted to share another lovely moment from their day at Lochgreen House Hotel 🤍

This little excerpt comes from Megan’s dad during his speech, talking about the joy he felt seeing his daughter get married and what the day meant to him.

Such a warm, heartfelt moment — and exactly the kind of words I love being able to weave through a wedding film.

I’ve really loved being back in Eilidh & Campbell’s wedding day while editing their films from Carlowrie Castle.

They’re almost finished now and will be heading their way next week, so I wanted to share this brilliant little moment from the father of the bride speech.

He tells the story of Campbell leaving his slippers at their house when he was still at school — and how, even then, he had a feeling Campbell wasn’t going anywhere!

Such a funny, personal story, but also one of those little moments that says so much about how long their lives have been intertwined.

Jess & Ilan married at The Engine Works in Glasgow on Sunday, with a day that began calmly before building into one incredible celebration.

Jess spent the morning getting ready in Glasgow, while Ilan was at The Engine Works helping with the final preparations for the day.

There was a Tish, followed by a lively and joyful ceremony surrounded by their family and friends.

Afterwards, everyone headed outside for drinks and canapés before moving back inside — where the dancing started before dinner, continued during dinner, and carried on long after it!

Such a brilliant atmosphere from beginning to end. Here’s a little glimpse of Jess & Ilan’s day!
