Another great new drama with Transport managed by Cars4Cast 🚘
Boat Story, an action-thriller from the creators of The Missing and The Tourist, launches on BBC One on Sunday, November 19.
It stars Daisy Haggard and Paterson Joseph as two strangers who discover a haul of illegal drugs on a washed-up boat, but their luck soon turns to misfortune as they become the targets of a vengeful mob boss, his hitman and the police.
At its heart, Boat Story is about two ordinary people whom the world has turned its back on, and whether they’re willing - or desperate enough - to do something crazy to get what they want in life. Pushed to the very edge, can they trust each other and get away with their lives and the money?
The cast also includes Tchéky Karyo, Joanna Scanlan, Craig Fairbrass and Phil Daniels.
Written by Harry and Jack Williams, it is produced by Two Brothers Pictures in association with All3Media International. It will later be available on Amazon Freevee in the US and Germany.
Harry and Jack Williams executive produce alongside Christopher Aird (Baptiste, Liar, The Tourist), Sarah Hammond (Back to Life, Fleabag, The Tourist) and Daniel Walker (The Tourist), with Tommy Bulfin and Nawfal Faizullah. Matthew Bird (Isolation Stories, Strangers) is producer.
Harry and Jack Williams directed block one. Alice Troughton directed block two and Daniel Nettheim directed block three.
