Household energy efficiency is focus of MP's visit to local firm

Sir Geoffrey Clifton-Brown, MP for the North Cotswolds, has paid a visit to ADEY, a leader in heating system protection, maintenance and water quality solutions, to learn more about how to create more sustainable and energy efficient homes.

During the visit, Sir Geoffrey met a number of the ADEY team and toured the company's Stonehouse HQ.

Countryside body says there's enough brownfield land to exceed the government's entire 1.5 million target.

New research from the Campaign to Protect Rural England (CPRE) shows that there is now enough brownfield land in England for more than 1.54 million new homes, enough to exceed the government's entire 1.5 million target.

The tough times for pubs and nightclubs have been brought into sharp focus, with one Cheltenham venue shutting after just five months.

Maggie's, in Regent Street, opened on February 27, this year. But despite having a bright new look and a new name, the nightclub that replaced Popworld closed in early August.
