I received the news over the summer that I have successfully passed my latest Assessment Practising Certificate renewal. This means that my report writing has been recognised as being of a high standard and means that my reports are valid for students across their schooling and beyond.

If your child's report is written by an APC holder such as myself, it can be used for an application for Disabled Students' Allowance (financial support for University).

"Our 11 year old daughter recently had an assesment with Rebecca and was diagnosed with dyslexia, she was extremely nervous about the assesment, however Rebecca's kind nature and highly professional attitude soon put our daughter at ease, Rebecca was extremely thorough in her assesment and report, which was received very quickly within 2 weeks of the assesment, she went above and beyond to provide information and a reading aid following my daughters diagnosis, I would highly recommend Rebecca to any parent seeking a professional to assess their child and we thank her for all she has done to help and support us and our daughter."

Good to know if your dyslexic child is a Kindle user:

Kindle devices and the Kindle app offer several features to support readers with dyslexia, including customisable fonts, text-to-speech capabilities, and adjustable screen settings. Specifically, the "OpenDyslexic" font, text-to-speech with synchronised highlighting, and features such as Word Wise and X-Ray can significantly enhance the reading experience for individuals with dyslexia.

So grateful that a recent client took time out from her busy day to leave me a 5* review.

"Rebecca immediately put my daughter at ease and she completed all the tests in such a kind and thoughtful manner. Following the test Rebecca emailed shortly afterwards to confirm my daughter is Dyslexic and shared her assessment scores with me. The comprehensive assessment report followed well within the promised timeframe, in fact much sooner. Rebecca was so kind and thoughtful she even posted a card and book to my daughter, which will be very helpful and much appreciated. Thank you Rebecca you have been a huge help and I will be sure to recommend you to anyone needing a Dyslexia test."
