Niching down gets thrown around like it’s the golden rule...

But let’s be honest, for most business owners, it just sounds like one more thing to stress about.

Here’s the thing: you don’t need to squeeze yourself into a tiny box or strip back what makes your business magic.

You just need clarity.

If you're not sure how to actually do it:

1️⃣ Start with what interests you.
What topics could you happily talk about again and again?

2️⃣ Train your algorithm.
Start saving, sharing and engaging with content that genuinely interests you. Over time, your feed will show you more of it and you'll start spotting patterns, ideas and opportunities within that space.

3️⃣ Start before you feel ready.
You don't need perfect clarity to begin. Often, clarity comes from creating, testing and learning as you go.

When people get what you do, why it matters and how it helps them, that's when they stick around, hit follow and start trusting you.

So, if someone asked what you do in one sentence… could you answer with confidence?

Social media isn't a magic wand. ✨

I think one of the biggest misconceptions about marketing is that one person, one strategy or one platform can completely transform a business on its own.

In reality, most growth comes from lots of things working well together.

That's why I've always believed the best client relationships feel collaborative rather than transactional.

I bring the marketing perspective, while you bring the knowledge of your business, your customers and your industry.

Instagram Instants has only been around for a couple of weeks and people already have strong opinions about it. 🚨

Some people love it. Some people think it’s unnecessary. Some people are wondering why Instagram keeps giving us more features to learn. 😅

But honestly? I quite like it!
Not necessarily because of the feature itself, but because of what it represents.

For years, social media has become more polished, more curated and more planned.
Instants feels like Instagram nudging us in the opposite direction.

- No uploading the perfect photo from your camera roll.
- No spending ages editing.
- No waiting until everything looks just right.

Just sharing a moment as it’s happening.

Will it replace Stories? Probably not.
Will every brand use it? Definitely not.

But I do think it’s an interesting reminder that people connect with people, and sometimes the moments we’d normally dismiss are the ones that help build the strongest connections.
