August ☁️✨🤍 - a month filled of high highs and low lows but as a family we’ll get through it together. Going through these times together just makes me so grateful we have eachother. It really is all that matters. I’ve tried my best with sticking to plan but I’ve found it HARD. My motivation massively dipped end of this month. But I’m feeling more myself these past few days and looking forward to a fresh month in September 🍂🤎✨

Race for life 2025 ✅🩷
My 2nd year taking part and something I want to continue doing every year.. I walked the 5k with my Slimming World members for my Grandad. And we lost one of our members Sandra last year and then we lost our member Susan just last month 💔 so I did it for them too, and anyone out there who’s lost their life or a loved one 🦋✨🩷

-2lbs and now 1lb to go until I’m backkk in range!❤️

And sometimes I need to remind myself how far I’ve come because I’ve not been feeling my best.. I have really tried to stay on track but my weight loss hasn’t been priority with everything we’ve had going on as a family this year 🦋 but today I weighed in at 9 stone 11lbs so only 1lb to get back into my target range😍 and on my journey I started Slimming World at 14 stone 7lbs ✨

And I’m so motivated to smash it as we have some real exciting plans which I can’t wait to share with you all sooooon 👀 ✨

🩷 SW FRIENDLY LAZY PICK PLATE 🩷
Trying to still stay on plan whilst feeling so rubbish and hormonal is hard!!! But making these plates that I still weigh / measure helps me stay on track, and still get a little goodness in and also cures the picky cravings🥰 and even if I go slightly over syns on days like today it’s so much better than just going completely off track🫶🏼

🍗 chicken satay & sweet chilli - 4.5 syns
🧀 25g cheddar sour cream ruffles - 7 syns
🥒 cucumber sticks - speed
🥄 1 tbsp of low fat sour cream - 1 syn

This month has been full of ups and downs but so many more positives compared to the last couple of months - and after everything Dexter has been through it has made us so grateful for the little moments together as a family🫶🏼 We celebrated Harper’s 3rd birthday 🎂 and enjoyed so many lovely family meals together. And hoping June will be even better and Dext may be able to go back to school a few hours a day next month🤞🏼 and June is the month I get my butt back into target 🎯

Tonight’s SW group dinner 🩷

Prep for me has always been a big part of my SW journey! Especially with the kids / working and after being at the hospital today - I’m so grateful I prepped this earlier this morning to keep me going 🙏🏼

And we’re home .. 🥹🙏🏼🏠❤️
I could not be more grateful to be home with my family and Dexter doing a bit better and still no seizures since last Wednesday🙏🏼 The fluid is something we will have to continue to monitor with hospital visits, scans and surgery possibly in the future but for now we get to be home together ❤️ Harper has struggled being without us and I can’t tell you how happy it makes me that we’re all back together again. Smiles all round today and another huge thank you for all your love & huge support, it means the world to us all🫶🏼###

Update ❤️‍🩹 1 week today we were blue lighted to Southampton General Hospital and Dext had his 1st seizure - this past week has been the worst of our lives and seeing him have 8 seizures this past week is something I’ll never forget..

The doctors have prescribed Dexter kepra to stop the seizures and so far so good 🙏🏼 and he’s not had a seizure in over 72hrs .. and his cheeky little smile keeps making an appearance, which I couldn’t be more grateful to see.. and he’s been asking for my roast dinner so I went home to shower, do some washing & make a roast to bring back which he managed to eat🥹

We’re still not sure what the plan is going to be going forward.. whether he has the shunt or not, but as I explained on my stories when we last drained the cyst he seized so they’re worried that doing the shunt which drains it all the time will cause more seizures and detrimental effects to him .. so it’s finding that balance of not doing nothing and not doing too much to regulate the pressure ..

But over this past week me and Nathan cannot thank you all enough for the kind messages, support & donations to our go fund me page to help us through this difficult time ❤️ you’ve all blown us away and truly made us emotional.. I always knew I had the most amazing community on here but this past week has been something else.. so THANK YOU 🙏🏼 and I’ll keep you guys updated ###
