We had our Christmas Solent socials annual cod match hosted by Darren and Caz Mckell followed by a Christmas dinner at Cowes sailing club. We had a big raffle and did some scratch cards all the proceeds are going to Wetwheels, many thanks to everyone who came including all the sponsors for the amazing prizes

To my Followers, sorry I haven’t been very active lately with the fishing, to keep it all going I have been really busy with work commitments, it’s expensive running a boat these days. Well myself and Neil Buckett fished together in the Sea Angling Classic onboard Nana T, day one we got in the top 10 plenty of action with Smoothounds, Tope and Rays a few bream. Day 2 was harder as we couldn’t find the Tope but managed some good hounds and a nice ray. We fished hard on the final day it didn’t help with w**d covering the baits but managed to get 13th place in the match. Many thanks to Ross Honey and his family for organising such an amazing event. Not forgetting the sponsors Crewsaver, Lowrance and Yeti. Looking forward now to the next one in 2026.
