A night of glamour and community has helped raise £18,000 for disabled children and their families.
The We Are Beams Masquerade Charity Ball, held on November 7, was a fantastic evening of mystery and glamour.
More than 140 guests from the local community and businesses gathered at Dartford Football Club for an unforgettable evening, featuring live music from the fabulous Kent-based band, Hullabaloo, along with fine dining and dancing.
The live auction was also great success with guests bidding on some truly unique items, including signed England rugby shirts and artwork by Banksy.
There was also a heartfelt speech from Dan and Sophie Mills about the positive impact that Beams has had on their family.
Their son Jude has profound autism, global development delay, and hypermobility and loves attending the holiday activities at Beams.
The charity has supported Sophie with specialist parent training and recently provided Jude with an adapted wheelchair, which has made such a difference to his wellbeing.
Luke Cashin, head of fundraising and Marketing at We Are Beams, is so grateful for all the support shown.
He said: “We have been amazed at the support from not only the guests for their generosity but the sponsors and local companies providing everything from entertainment, photography and equipment all ensuring that the funds raised will go directly towards Beams care services.”
