Currently working on my first pattern collection, Into the Moss, and sharing as I refine it along the way. One day you WILL be seeing these designs on actual products… I’m determined to make that happen. 😅

Home is Where the Cows Are 🐄

✶ blue underpainting
✶ textured green background
✶ black & white cows
✶ oil pastel marks thrown in somewhere
✶ + a border… just not sure what yet

I turned these marks into a geometric pattern.😏

I painted the detail from one of the flower pots in my garden. Seemed rude not to turn it into a design. (it still relates to my story / theme dw)



A peek at how it came together in Adobe Illustrator, plus me messing around with some colours to make sure it repeats properly.

Annnd the patterns…

Couldn’t decide which colour I preferred, so we have a light…

a medium, with greens 🌱

And a dark with some browns 🤎

First geometric print ☑️

Not actually sure it’s going to make it into the collection yet, but we shall seeee.

(They actually look like coffee beans🧐)
