Role description:
As an assistant project manager you will:
Work closely with the Head of Projects to build close client relationships and plan projects from pre-production to sign-off.
Build an understanding of scheduling, proposals, invoicing, CRM systems, and calendar control.
Keep an open communication with clients over email and phone. Often participating and leading briefing meetings and video calls.
Eventually becoming the first port of call for a majority of our clients and progressing quickly from assistant, to project manager, to potentially Head of Projects.
Getting involved with the production side of the company, when needed, including as an interviewer on shoots or editing videos.
Required skills/experience:
Able to demonstrate strong organisational skills
A charismatic, extroverted, and enthusiastic person who is happy to chat to clients every day
Prior understanding or keen interest in learning budgeting, time scheduling, and client management.
Excellent grasp of English spelling and grammar
A gentle and caring personality is a must. We work mostly within care homes and around potentially vulnerable people, so a caring nature is needed for this role.
Every member of our team is required to edit videos so a prior knowledge of editing video content or a keen interest to learn this skill will be needed
This is an office-based role so you must be within easy commuting distance to Prestwood, Buckinghamshire or willing to relocate.
You must have a UK driving licence and access to a car.
Preferred skills/experience:
Any knowledge and prior use of Adobe Premiere Pro
Any prior experience in a project management or co-ordination role
Any prior experience working in a small video production or creative company.
Any additional knowledge of filming, camera operation, photography, lighting or audio
Understanding of how to complete a creative project from pre-production, to creative development and filming, to post-production editing and sign-off.
Any experience working with marketing professionals to improve campaigns
Any experience with the elderly, dementia, learning difficulties, or care settings in general and how to communicate with vulnerable people will be helpful
