🔒 Why is GoldBot not live yet?

Because promising results are not the same as proven results.

GoldBot has reached a point where we have identified a promising edge candidate, but that is only the beginning.
Before anything is allowed near demo or live trading, it needs to survive more robustness testing, unseen data, stress testing and eventually forward testing.

The aim is not to rush something into the market because a backtest looks good.
The aim is to find out where it breaks first.
If the edge is real, it should survive increasingly difficult tests.

If it fails, we learn from it and keep developing.

Research first. Validation before deployment. 🤖📊

🧠 Discipline is not just knowing when to trade. It is knowing when to step back too.

One of the biggest mistakes traders make is feeling like they always need to be in the market.

But if the setup is weak, the conditions are messy or the risk does not make sense, waiting can be the better decision.

A disciplined system should be able to say:
Is the setup valid?
Do the rules agree?
Is the risk acceptable?
If not, stand aside.

That is part of what GoldBot is being designed to do. Not chase every move, just wait for conditions that actually fit the plan.

⏳ Patience is a trading skill.

Waiting can feel like doing nothing, but in trading it is often part of the job.

A good setup does not appear just because we want one. If the conditions are not there, forcing a trade usually means accepting worse odds and more unnecessary risk.

Patience means waiting for your rules to line up, even when the market is moving without you.

The aim is not to be constantly active. The aim is to make better decisions when the right opportunity appears.

Waiting for your setup is part of the strategy. 📊
