17 years. Two friends. One business. And now, two exciting paths forward.
We launched Two Fresh Productions straight out of university with plenty of ambition, a healthy dose of naivety and absolutely no idea what lay ahead.
We still remember walking around Enfield Town, knocking on doors and trying to convince local businesses to let us make a video. £250 for our first projects felt like a huge deal. So did taking out our first £5,000 company loan and wondering whether we would ever repay it.
We learned how to build a business day by day.
There have been incredible highs, difficult lows, big wins, plenty of mistakes and more than a few anxiety-filled nights. Through it all, we kept learning and growing.
Two Fresh has shaped our working lives, allowing us to grow as filmmakers, producers, entrepreneurs and distributors. It has also introduced us to brilliant clients, collaborators, friends and an incredibly talented team.
Now, we have reached an exciting new chapter.
We have built two strong brands, each with its own vision and ambitions. We have decided to separate the two businesses and run them independently.
🎬 Two Fresh Studios will be led by Cey Sesiguzel as Founder and Executive Producer, focusing on original films, acquisitions and international distribution, with the ambition of becoming the leading independent studio for Mediterranean cinema.
🚀 Two Fresh Productions will be led by Andy Tokkallos as CEO and Lead Producer, growing the production, creative and marketing services our clients rely on.
And to be completely clear, there has been no blazing row!
We remain close friends, creative partners and collaborators. Andy recently had the honour of being best man at Cey’s wedding, and we will continue working together on active projects.
This is not the end of our partnership. It is an evolution of it.
Seventeen years in, we feel a little like those two university graduates walking around Enfield Town again.
Ambitious. Excited. Probably still a little naive about what lies ahead.
But this time, we know a little more than we did then.
A new chapter begins.
