We are delighted to announce that Stelios will be hitting UK cinemas on April 25th.

The film made history at the Greek box office when it premiered on December 19, 2024. The film is in its 11th week and stands at 920,000 admissions.

Originally titled Yparcho—named after one of Stelios Kazantzidis’ most iconic songs—the film is directed by Yorgos Tsemberopoulos and brings the legendary Greek singer’s story to life. Starring Christos Mastoras, lead singer of the band Melisses, in the title role, Stelios is a must-see for music and cinema lovers alike.

Based off the success of theatrical run with . We’re pleased to announce that we have launched Two Fresh Distribution, producers and have teamed up with industry distribution executive Lucy Savage.

The company will focus on films from and about the Mediterranean. They’ve set their first title, Stelios, and will launch the film at the upcoming European Film Market.
Directed by Yorgos Tsemberopoulos and produced by the film tells the story of Greek music legend and singer Stelios Kazantzidis. The lead singer of the band Melisses, Christos Mastoras , plays in the starring role. The film passed 800,000 admissions in Greece in January. The UK release date is set for April 25th.
